Alright sounds good. o3o Well in Role Playing... you play the role of your character. xd *states the obvious* Lol. There's LARPing, Live Action Role Playing, which happens IRL and you act as the characters. I miss LARPing... emo Man. I'm bad at explaining things. Er.. well you have a character, with strengths and weaknesses. New people too often forget the weaknesses and make their characters practically unbeatable, which is called god modding, which is not alright. >.<

RPs are fun, it's effectively like telling a story, except you only detail your character's movements.
Ideally, you give other players the framework to develop their character's movements and thoughts in response to yours.
For example!
If me and kerri were to RP, I'd start off with something like:
Entering the room, Bass noticed Kerri sat on the sofa.
"Hey there, kerri! How are you?" Bass wandered over to Kerri, and sat down on the sofa too.
Kerri would then give a response, of what her character would do. *hint hint*

Listen to Bass, he can actually explain things. xd In short, RPing is interactive storytelling. :3
Kerri shifts over to Bass and leans against him, tearing forming in her eyes. "I'm okay I guess," she whispers, her voice breaking softly. "But... I just found out... my pet hamster... died. I loved him so much."

Yeah, that's basically what an RP is. Ideally you'd write more, describing the situation and the characters thoughts and feelings, or what's going on around them.

Well you can just follow along in an RP. 3nodding You don't have to make up too much. Oh I forgot to mention GMs. Game Masters. They have the plot, and are supposed to help you float if you start to sink, you know? 3nodding I can't be a GM, because plot isn't my forte. <:3

RP: Kerri sniffles slightly. "He wasn't even that old... but my mom kept over feeding him and his exercise wheel broke and she wouldn't get a new one... I told her it'd kill him one of these days." She makes a noise halfway between a sob and a laugh. "Guess I was more right that I thought." She hugged Bass back tightly. "Thanks."

Agent: It's all about using your imagination. It's good to stretch your brain every once in a while. My first RP character was effectively me, but they're all gaining their different personalities now. biggrin
