My computer has the bare-minimum system requirements for XP, so I'm gonna go with Windows 2000. x3

did your computer come with Vista?
cuz ive heard of problems if it has and you try to down grade it..

No, my computer came with XP Home OEM, and I'm not doing an official downgrade.
For Vista, you can only officially downgrade to XP Pro, and only if you have Vista Business or higher. You take an XP Pro license, and use that rather than the Vista license. You call product activation and do the downgrade.
I'm just switching OSs, and it'll destroy my warranty. But my computer might actually run more than two programs at once. =/

That's only if you upgrade from a previous XP installation.
It invalidates your XP serial code, so you can't reinstall it if you don't like Vista.
