Without movement for the winged girl, a second Alexia-well, a ghostly shadow silhouette of Alexia-appeared in the chair beside her. "Oh, nothing special like you." she said, "Turn around."

So she could make a shadowy version of her self, He thought. She probably could do a lot with that. When she told him to turn around, he shrugged and turned around.

Kierra sat on the bed in her dorm room, typing up a research paper, when she heard a knock on her door. She saved her paper and answered the door. "Ahhhh!" she screamed as she was pelted with water baloons. "Merry Christmas, freak!" one of the students of the group yelled before they all ran off, laughing. Kierra sighed deeply and slammed her door closed. Grabbing a towel, she dried herself off and chaanged into her pajamas before going back to typing her paper, fighting back tears. "I really need some friends," she thought to herself.

A shadow version of Locke stood behind him, coming from Locke's feet if he looked down. Shadows of the various wine bottles were dancing around in a strange pattern. All was Alexia's doing.

Locke jumped slightly as he saw a shadowy version of himself. He looked down to see that it was still connected to him. He looked behind the shadow to see the liqueur bottle shadows dancing on the wall. "Cool," he said, "I kinda feel like Peter Pan right now. But it's all good." He then had an idea. "Can you see through their eyes?"

The shadow show stopped and the silhouettes sunk to the ground again. "See through their eyes?" Alexia repeated, "I've never tried that before. Never even imagined it."

Locke turned around, and he noticed people coming in. He took the cups one by one and put them away. As he took them, their auras disappeared; the one covered in water left a wet spot where it sat. "I discovered a dozen or so ways to use these auras," he said, "I bet you could find a few unorthodox ways to use your abilities."

"Like shadow claws or shadowporting?" Alexia suggested, "I've already thought of those and almost perfected both. Shadow claws are easy, but shadowporting is not. Don't ask what happened the first time I tried." She poked the water and played with it.

She shrugged. "Sure, why not?" Alexia said, "I'll be wanting to head home soon though, My boss gave me some food and I don't want it to get bad if I decide not to eat it tonight."

"Perfect!" Alexia said, "I can make Captain Jack Sparrow jokes then!" She was obsessed with Pirates of the Carribean; Depp was one sexy man to the winged mutant.

With a laugh, Locke whipped up a rum and coke on the rocks. "Don't worry, it's on me." He said with a smile as he rang it up and paid it with his card. He then turned to a customer, to take their order.

Alexia simply smiled and took a sip of the Rum Cokè. It was good as Locke had said. 'Why is he bring so nice?' she wondered, staring at the glass before taking another drink.

Locke was taking taking orders by himself until Simon and a woman came out from the kitchen to help. Once all the customers got their drinks and thinned out, he took the small window of opportunity to scribble something on a napkin.
