A small question: If the killer is banished, will the people die who he tried to kill?
To answer your questions ill put it in a few terms.
If a killer is Jailed, their kills will not go through, for the "Detectives"/"Police" would have taken them before they could have performed their action.
If a killer is killed, their kill will not go through, because the killer that killed them would have taken them out. This can go the same as the Mini Game Cards. (Even though there is only one killer in this game.)
In this game, Jailed=Banished.
