I'll have to read the book 3nodding if only cause I like reading the book before I watch any movie based off a book

The Golden Compass, by the way, is the first book of a trilogy, including The Subtle Knife and The Amber Spyglass. smile

I heard those books were good... but is it that trilogy that Christians don't like because it makes it sound like atheism is good or something?

Well... yes, but don't forget that a lot of Christians don't like Harry Potter, either. smile
The second book is slated for a movie next year, but IMDb doesn't have any further information right now.

aretoo Golden Compass is a pretty darn good movie. The book's even better. And Sanzo, I was the one who swatted Linny's nose for, um... the Pandy comment. neutral ...it's based off a book?! why didn't anyone tell me?!?! gonk I swear, Hollywood has no imagination anymore Night little sister!
