It really doesn't do the pure insanity of the movie justice... It really does have a fantastic cast, though. Hank Azaria, Ray Romano, Jesse Bradford, Zooey Deschanel, Glenne headly, Famke Janssen, Piper Laurie, Kelly Preston, Rip Torn, Debra Winger...

I'm going through some of the movies I acquired previously-viewed for just a couple bucks, then never got around to watching. (I started out with Queen Latifah's "Last Holiday", a quite nice little comedy.)

It was a very nice movie. smile I kinda want to see the original with Alec Guiness (many, MANY years before he was Ben Kenobi) starring in it. smile

I've got a question... can I stab Disney in the head? I put up the High School Musical series of movies, Camp Rock, and Hannah Montana up as proof as to why I should be allowed to

stare Sanzo, have you SEEN 95% of what passes for popular entertainment these days? I agree on principal, as I refuse to watch any of the above... smile And anything that's a little quirky and fun will never find an audience, be cancelled, and then become a "cult classic". rolleyes
What do you think: should I go with "Contact" next? mrgreen

And Contact IS awesome. Have you read the book by Carl Sagan? It's terrific, and SO much more in-depth than even the movie was. biggrin
