I've been working a lot of hours, so I figured I'd treat myself. And, er, support Gaia and whatnot. So I got some Gaia cash.
Annnd I hit up Amazon and ordered the first book in the Last Herald Mage series, since I can't find it in stores here.

Well, the first and last book. The middle one was ...okay... Necessary for the story, but the 2nd Indiana Jones movie of that particular book trilogy. smile

I want to reread the first two, though. <3 It makes me cry, too. ;_; It's pretty angsty, but it's still so sad. My credit card is going to cry a bit, too. x3 It never gets used. I'm a little unsure about the shipping fees, though. I've never ordered anything before. Edit: And you've mentioned Tanya Huff before, but unfortunately I haven't found any of her stuff around here. They just opened a big Indigo, but it's over East, so I have yet to check it out.

EDIT: @Jafty: Yes-ish; more roughs, I need to sit down at my (new!) drafting table and get my butt in gear. I always put so much detail in, though, they take a couple hours... xd

Well, I intend to find it (I'll probably order it online eventually...it's frighteningly easy), but for the time being my brain (and Visa) can only handle one book. x3
I'm so paranoid...I've spent all evening virus-scanning and spyware-detecting in preparation for ordering this stuff. xd Only found cookies, though.

We even have cable or satellite or something (illegally) at the house now, and I still don't watch it. 300 channels, and nothing's ever on.
