((Goodnight Eternal!))

After a few moments, a nun led Zil and his men into a room filled with several very nice chairs arranged in a circle. "Sit wherever you like except for the gold chair." She said, referring to a large thrown like seat with blue velvet cushions. The other seats were similar but all made out of silver with different color velvet. A moment later, a young woman wearing a thick veil over her face and so much fine embroiled fabric that it appeared almost like a blanket rather then clothes was carried into the room. She was set down in the large golden chair, and proceeded to slump over and almost fall out of the chair. The nuns had to straiten her up and slapped the side of her face lightly to try and wake her up. "My lady. My lady." They called. Another turned towards them with some regret "We're sorry. This is a little embarrassing, but she was up late studying again. She works so hard, you know." She told them when Lianne finally began to stir.
"Hmm..." She muttered.
"My lady, you have visitors." A nun said.
"It's... so bright..." She muttered, though the majority of her face was covered by heavy veils.
"Yes, it is morning." The nun told her.

Only 'close friends' knew that Zil was the rebel leader and as of now, he didn't know what kind of character the priestess had and whether or not he could trust her with the secret that he was actually the real leader of the unpredictable rebels. He started, "My lady, we were sent to discuss with you on the matter... of the people who follow you. Are you aware of what Diethelm's leader has been doing to them?"

Monica arrived a few minutes before breakfast was served and the other officers had been gathering in the banquet hall already.

Kyrell didn't even look at Saiyu. He looked over the hill they stood upon to gaze at the glorious capital city of Helmshire. He began to speak, " 'Not everything can be won through kindness. This is why we wage war', Blood Fox once said to me and to this day, I remember and stand by it. Come to think of it, wouldn't it be great if Diethelm stopped trying to invade our country just by saying 'please'? ...Hypothetically speaking." He looked then at Saiyu with a grin. "Good morning" He said cheerfully.

Suddenly, Lianne perked up, having a sudden urge to vomit, but barely held herself together. "A-are you alright my lady?" A soldier asked.

"Yes." She told the soldier before turning towards Zil "I am... unfortunately aware." She replied tersely, then turned towards the nun beside her. "Excuse me, is this an ambassador from Diethelm or Helmshire?" She asked.

"No, my lady. This is um... well..." The nun stopped. After a moment of silence.

"Pardon me, but who are you and what do you wish with the servant of the servants of God?" She asked.

"Neither" Zil said without flinching. "We are a mixed group. The rebellion. We take in anyone and everyone and this is our concern. The believers in Diethelm. We can't save them all. Each day, more of them are being sent to the concentration camps. Moreover, the believers in Helmshire are also in trouble as Diethelm wishes to invade them and impose the anti-religion law. And we have reason to believe... that Damien Blackrose has plans of taking over and destroying Mt. Angelo Holy City once Helmshire goes down. I believe my lady is already aware of how adverse religion is to his ideals. We wish to warn you that war is coming here as well and you, my lady, are one of the keys to save us. Zil bent his head in respect to the priestess and the rebels began to do the same.

"I knew this would come sooner or later, but I was hoping that day would be further away." She admitted. "I'm afraid that in the political arena, things are more complex then that. I knew from the beginning that he had every intention of taking over the entire world, but the idea of a God challenges his supreme power. And all this time... I only have the power to give comforting words to those looking for hope... you do understand what giving my blessing would mean, correct?"

Zil didn't hesitate to answer, "It would mean saving lives, empowering people and helping to stop this war. The last line of defense is Helmshire. Once Helmshire goes down" Zil looked at Lianne with piercing eyes, "Bye bye all of us"

Lianne let out a small sigh. "In your eyes, yes. My word would do a lot of good for your cause. It would do so for any cause. But my word also speaks for all believers. That includes many oversea countries who wish to remain indifferent from this battle, or those who benefit from Diethelm's industry. Though some lives will be saved, many others will be lost. No one gains from war. Without a clear reason, we would appear as aggressors preaching a pacifist religion. People would loose faith in such a contradictory notion, and then how good would my word be to you?"

"Many things are achieved by appropriate wording" Zil said with his eyes closed. He reckoned she would say that but the main purpose of the trip was far different from what it was on the surface. "We're not asking you to save us. We're asking you to help them. Put a stop to Damien's merciless massacre of believers. We're asking you not to tolerate that people are being sent to forced labor and execution camps just for wearing religious signs." He sighed. "Silence and inaction, believe it or not, kills more than saves. Could you live with the fact that a simple phrase could have saved the millions but did not because Diethelm had already taken over the continent?"

Lianne let out a small sigh. "Please understand that... " she started, but was suddenly interrupted by a soldier rushing in.

"My lady!" He called with haste.

"Yes? What is it?" She asked calmly. The soldier went to her side and whispered something into her ear. "What?!" She said with alarm. "But... I see. Send the welcoming party and prepare the wind room." She told them, then turned to Zil. "I apologies, but it seems I have a very unexpected guest. I ask that you please follow this maid to the red room. I will have the cooks accommodate you, and in the mean time, please rest and think it over." She told them. Then, she stood and was helped out of the room while a maid stepped forwards to escort them to the room.

Saiyu had learnt long ago that Kyrell spoke to himself, regularly and that for another hour the prince would be in what she had dubbed (be it out of affection or annoyance she wasn’t sure) his philosophical mode- something which, at this time of the morning, the red head valued, the longer he contemplated the meaning of things the longer she would have to her own mind.

With an almost audible jarring of her mental cogs Saiyu’s head snapped up, her once closed eyes pulled into a half open, lazy glare at her friends comment. Saiyu Mai had never and would never be a morning person. “…yeh….good morning….” Sarcasm dripped heavily from her voice as a muffled yawn made itself known in the still morning air. Why the prince had wanted the training at this ungodly hour would be something Saiyu wouldn’t (or want to for that matter) figure out.

*~*~*~*~*

Rafael grimmaced and rolled over, pulling the covers over his head as the shrill, highpitched alarm glared through his peacful sleep.
Grunning, more then normal, the communications head slammed his fist down on the offending plastic implament, jarring the sleep button down as he puled himself from the bed.

Rafael liked the mornings, infact it was the best time to gain access to most of diethelms documents and generaly mess with their things - but alarm clocks were a different matter all together.
The high pitched ringing sound set his nerves on edge, the same few tones bleeping over and over again. Why the stupid things haden't been used as a torture method he could only wonder at.

Pushing the god-forsaken technology into his waste paper basket Rafael pushed himself out of bed, heading straight for the bathroom. The moment he got back to Verillia he was going to out-law the use of such devices in his company.

Using the heel of his foot Jay pushed his office door shut, a stack of folders and files tottering dangrously in his arms.
Morning was just another exscuse to pour over information for the almost freakishly chipper tactition. His smug smirk an almost constant and unwavering fixuter with in the past few hours.

Dumpping the files on his desk, with little care for their haphazard landing style the black haired male slid into his chair, randomly slipping a file from the mountain of paper.
Already his morning was off to a flying start and, taking a long draught from his mug of coffiee, he concluded it would only get better for him as he sat studying the black and white pages spread infront of him.

Damien's helicopter landed in the holy city and Damien got out. He avoided looking at all the religious imagery so that he did not feel ill. He was escorted right inside. He wanted to get this over with as quickly as possible.

Damien was escorted to a glass room where the trees and flowers in full bloom. Lianne was sitting in a golden chair next to a jeweled table with a flower design. She was then wearing a simple white dress, and a white veil laced with gold thread. Her face was covered so that she couldn't see Damien's face. As he had entered, she poured a glass of tea for both Damien and herself. "Welcome." She told him, offering her hand. It was custom for rulers to kiss her hand or a have a handshake as a sign of peace.

Damien shook the priestess' hand and then took a seat. His black uniform contrasted the white and gold of hers. "Good day. I suppose we should get this started with. I wouldn't want to waste any more of your time" Damien said. And waste more of my own he added in his head.

"Of course." She replied, taking a seat, feeling slightly odd that the handshake was used as opposed to the kiss, but grateful for it as well. "Well then, what would you wish to discuss, Blackrose, Leader of Diethelm." She asked calmly, but with a majestic tone in respect of his position.
