whitewolf04244 Mei Ada whitewolf04244 I did the 30 Hour Famine last year too. It's not as hard as you might think. And last year we did community service! This year we're just getting sponsers. y 30, is that number special? Sort of... the 30 Hour Famine is when I ( and meh church buds) go without food for 30 hours and feel what it's like to be truly hungry. I meant y 30 and not some other number like 36 or 40???

Last year, the girls slept at the Youth Pastors house and the guys slept over at the Pastors house. It's like, we go without food for a while and have a huge sleepover, then stuff ourselves with fastfood.
This year, we get sponsors who donate money to the cause and then we go without food for 30 hours, this year we are all sleeping over at the Church. After the 30 hours are up we go get food and go home. During the sleepover we play games and chat and stuff. It's pretty fun. Afterwards, we collect the money from our sponsers and give it to the church which then sends it to WorldVision. If 12 people give me 30$ I'll have saved up enough money to care for a starving child for the rest of their life. o.o
