"I suppose I'll have to take your word for it." She replied, taking a sip of her tea. "Well, I must admit this conversation is a bit different then what I expected. I find your honesty... somewhat refreshing. During the time of our previous leader, I remember the previous king of Montinagua publicly declared his loyalty to God and encouraged his people to do the same, but while here, he boasted of his indifference while calling his people fools. For such men, this religion is nothing more then a way of controlling people, which is not at all how it was intended to be. There have been some who went as far as to say that you can get people to do about anything if you tell them it's for God. At least what you are saying, you honestly believe, even if it does oppose my own view."

"Of course, and I plan on carrying out my beliefs. Of course, one of my beliefs is that religion poisons the mind of people who don't understand logic and therefore it must be gotten rid of. Me, of course with my flawless intelligence and logic, am the perfect person to do away with this folly" Damien stated.

Lianne opened her mouth to say something, then closed it and took another sip of tea instead, trying to think of something. She didn't want to be rude, but she found what he said so absurd that she just didn't know how to reply. Even her guards who were standing by had to bite their bottom lips to prevent themselves from bursting out in laughter.

"So is there anything else that you would like to discuss?" Damien asked, then picked up his tea again and took another sip.

"Yes. I wanted to ask you about the..." She started when a heavy wind cascaded through the room. "Wah!" She yelled as the wind blew off her heavy veil and forced her into the table. The soldiers and maidens braced themselves to prevent themselves from falling over. Her teacup flipped off the table with the tea still in it and broke against the floor, and the teacup in Damien's hand shattered, cutting the glove and his hand and splashing his uniform with hot tea. When the wind died down, Lianne pulled herself up slowly, grabbing her chest while her long golden hair falling out of it's pin covered her face. The soldiers lit up with alarm and rushed to her side.
"M-my lady! Are you alright?" A soldier asked, helping her up.
"I-I'm alright." She muttered. The other turned towards the door at the far end, where a scholar from a distant country was standing by the door.
"You there! What are you doing?" The other soldier yelled.
"A-am I interrupting something?" The scholar asked. The soldier grabbed the scholar and escorted him away through a different door to prevent the vortex of wind from entering the room again.
Lianne slowly looked up, her glittering blue eyes half open due to the sudden exposure to the bright light. Her face radiated with a softness and otherworldly beauty that few could even dare to match. Rather then helping Damien, the Diethelm guards were so awestruck that they could only freeze and gape at her with they saw her face. "M-my veil..." She muttered, looking up and seeing Damien clearly in front of her. She swallowed, feeling as if she would vomit at the sight of him, and tried to maintain her courage though she felt as if it had all left her. She then saw his hand bleeding and quickly turned to the maid. "Get a medical kit. He's hurt." She told the maid, using it as an excuse to not look at him. The maid nodded and quickly ran to get the kit.
"My lady? Are you alright? How hard were you hit."
"I will be fine." She replied, sitting down and turning her head while holding onto her gut where she was hit. "Please check on our guest. His companions haven't seemed to move."
((And now you know why I called it the wind room))

Zil had a calm composure at this point but now that he knew they were left alone, as soon as Dustin answered his call... "Gah! She's a tough nugget! Silver Wolf, Wolf, Wolfie, you gotta help me! What should I say? What should I say? She's going on about this peace thing. I'm running out of things to say." He completely forgot all the 'cool' things he was supposed to say and skipped to the freaking out bit but then again, this wasn't the first time. The other rebels were a little culture shocked by his behavior despite the fact that they knew Zil very well now. They giggled or raised an eyebrow at his interesting behavior.
Monica looked at Jian as he approached her. The others were already leaving the banquet hall. The brunette flicked her hair back, away from her face and replied to him, "I've been well, chief general. Quite pleased that the leadership training is starting off on a good note. A little ticked about this public opinion that in the continent, I'm second only to the high priestess in Mt. Angelo when it comes to beauty. They should know that I stopped caring about such petty things long ago" She sighed. Celebrity status never seemed to leave her at all. The days of 'dressage queen' and 'wealthy socialite', she could not wash off very easily.

(( omnomnom! -sits next to aya- I can't believe he's speaking to the head of the holy city~ )) With little more than an aggravated grunt to signal her complaint, Saiyu swatted Kyrell’s hand away in a sluggish motion. The lack of visible aggression would have shocked most people besides the heir to the Helmshire crown, he knew the morning was the only safe time to get away with such acts of ruffling or patting her head her without the fear of having something broken.
Eyes still half lidded with sleep Saiyu ambled after her Kyrell, helping the prince set up his training course for the day ahead. Though the lack of attention to the morning did have its drawbacks, for one Saiyu was defiantly stronger when not paying attention. Some of the heavy crates that littered the plaza from the previous sessions being hoisted easily into the woman’s arms as she moved them out of the way in an almost frightening show of strength from the diminutive Helmsherian as she ambled about her dutys, a lazy smile slowly falling into place.~*~*~*~*~ Rafael sighed as loud babbling broke over the communications wave. Zil had been with in the holy city for a handful of hours and already the idiot was spazzing out. With a violent twitchthe communications head yanked his headset off and set it on the desk. He could still hear Zil’s voice drifting loud and clear from this distance?! Christ the man must have been practically shouting down the headset. It may have been a part of Rafael’s job to sit through mundane events like this but he still hated it. Being required to sit in on every call from a large mission almost became a battle of attrition when dealing with the head of the rebels.
Leaving the head set discarded on the desk the IT freak turned back to his screen, lines of numbers and text, maps and colourful lines meeting his board gaze. The plant file had been found and the nasty easy Trojan he had planted dealt with. Good. This would be no fun if he was dealing with idiots. Pushing back from the main screen the dark haired male allowed his eyes to drift to the many flashing monitors that littered the floor, shelves and desk’s. The sun hadn’t even risen properly yet and he already felt the oncoming headache. Sitting in the actual communications room, instead of his dark little room was something that put the man on edge to the point of every single security camera on the complex being turned on. Stupid large scale missions. Stupid Zil for making him man the communications for this one personally. “I hope he stops his stupid spaztic fit soon….the entire mountain range will know he’s there….”

((Note: This is under the description of Lianne, but I want to make it clear: Lianne's beauty is only supposed to be a rumor because very few have actually seen her face and none have managed to get a picture of her without a veil covering her face since she was 13 and she was breathtaking then. The rumor just so happens to be true. There are also false rumors that her face got burned in an accident and other things like that.))
"So I take it you heard about our leader's little visit. I actually heard that rumor, but I've never actually seen her face. I have met her in person a few times for the leader though. I'll admit she's a bit... different then one would think. I somewhat pity someone who's job is to do something like that all the time..." He said, then looked up at Monica. "Do you miss it?"

Damien stood up after his hand was cut and hot tea spilled all over him. "Is there a place I can get cleaned up before I get burns?" Damien asked, but tried not to sound to hasty. He pulled his ruined glove off and looked at his hand. He then used the glove soak up the blood coming out of his hand. Once he looked at the Head Priestess, he realized how beautiful she was. She had to at least be on par with Monica. Ah, she would be perfect for him, except for the circumstances. It was still too soon to invade the holy city. Religious people from overseas would not take it lightly and Diethelm might lose support.
((So does she want to throw up because she sees the face of a man who has committed so many cruel acts, or is this another crack at his appearance? xd ))
"You were never one that knew how to talk to the ladies, we're you?" Dustin chuckled, "just remember to stay formal. Is she saying that the rebels should take a less violent course of action? If so then say that although the rebels don't want to be violent, Diethelm does not react to peaceful demonstrations. Anyone who protests, no matter how non-violently is dealt with harshly and often violently. Therefore we speak in a language they understand" the second in command said. "I'd fly out there if you want. I could call up a favor from the Helmshirish military, but it would still take about half an hour to an hour at least unless they take me in a supersonic jet."

((Both! xd ))
In response to Damien, Lianne pulled out a clean hankerchif. "Yes, guard, go and get a room and some clothes. I'll handle the first aid... pardon me." She said to Damien, taking his bloody and tea coated glove off and cleaning off the tea and pressing her hankerchif against he wound to close it. Her hands were as soft as silk, and just her touch could send almost any man's heart ablaze. Still, she made sure to stay focused on his hand and not anything else, or else risk wanting to throw up more then she already did.

"Alright then... This room is called the wind room. It was built by * insert supposed-to-be-famous name here* during the scientific revolution in order to study wind currents. When that far door opens, it catches the harsh mountain winds that usually blow over and fills this room with a vortex, and he would observe wind patterns from the outside. Many of my guests like to view the outside while still not having to actually having to deal with outdoors, so this is the favorite room of many world leaders. Since the scholars use it very rarely now, the door was supposed to be kept locked at all times just in case, so I apologies." She explained, still focusing on Damien's hand and wondering where on earth the maid was with the medical kit. As much as she tried to hide it, she shifted uncomfortably knowing that she only had a few maids by her side while the guards were gone, and she knew Damien's guards were still staring at her intently as well as probably Damien himself.

"Ah, I always enjoy hearing about scientific endeavors. Um, would there be a doctor in this city by any chance?" Damien asked. He wanted his cut looked at. It probably required stitches.

"Over half the workers in this building have sufficient medical training." She replied. "Even I have sufficient knowledge though not to an extent as the others. This is a clean cut. It could have been worse, but it may require a few stitches." She replied. Finally, the maid came back out of breath and with the medical kit.
"Here." She said.
"Thank you." Lianne replied, pulling out the rubbing alcohol, and a threaded needle. "Are you ready." She asked, putting some alcohol on a cotton ball and cleaning the needle. "This may sting just a tad."

"Go ahead. I can handle it" Damien said. Sure it would burn a little, but he could handle it. He's had stuff like this happen before and if he could survive a near heart attack and being forced to spend a month either in a hospital bed, or being pushed around on a wheelchair, then this would be nothing.
