You just have to remember that every girl is basically just a person. A person with fun parts. Try what I do: Walk up to one that you fancy and say the first thing that pops into your head.
No lines. No ins. No openers. No pretense. No bullshit. If it doesn't work out, just walk away.

Yeah, Sanzo. That's why I'm in a stable, long-term relationship with an emotionally supportive woman...

Yes, because then I would be walking around my town saying things like "I, y'know, I really, I just, I think you have the most beautiful, pert, wonderful tits, and I'd really appreciate it if you liked me." And "I like how well-distributed you are physically, I've been observing you from over there for ten minutes now. I actually don't like coffee, but because of that rokkin' bod of yours, I just had to step in this Starbucks and see if you could stand to ever date me."
Okay, go, what would you say Tsuji?

...what on earth is that thing in your post Tsuji? and um I got no idea how to reply
@Jimmy ok obviously you can't say that but just a simple hi might do the trick or a nice compliment, one NOT so obviously directed at her figure

Okay, what if I toned it down? Liiike... "Hi, I happen to glance over here and see you, and I just couldn't stop myself from trying to force myself into a conversation with you. Is that alright?"
Girls like honesty, right?
Edit: Alright, Sanzo. Well thanks for the chat. G'night.

I was thinking more along the lines of, "Hi, I'm Aaron and I couldn't help but notice you..." pause dramatically for her to give her name. But I don't know, Jimmy, I've had encounters like those that you outlined. They didn't all end badly, either.
Think of it this way: Your missing out on a chance with those ladies anyway, so if you try and fail it really isn't a loss. It's just status quo.
Eventually you'll get better at it. Oh, and if it helps any, coffee burns generally doesn't scar.

Alright, alright. I give in. Your amiability has won me over, Tsuji. I will consider this strategy of yours as I progress through my life-meat.
However, I think I'll retire now, as I just used a contraction of the words "life" and "meat", and I'd like to consider that a sign that I am a little to tired to feasibly carry on typing coherent things on the internet.
So goodnight, cake-eaters.

*Appears out of NOWHERE next to jimmy and drapes his arm around his shoulder* Jimmy... it's all about not trying too hard. I once got a date off of the line (For lack of a better word) "Hello, I'm [Insert your name here]. Do you like pudding?" And the conversation took off from there. It's not about stating the blatantly obvious, or saying "I want to talk with you" or anything like that, you just need SOMETHING to address what THEY might like. If they said "No I HATE pudding." I could have come back with how much I hate pudding skin, and we would have something in common. Or on the flipside. if they LOVED chocolate pudding I can say "ME TOO! *giggle* " And had even MORE in common. xd Click my eggs/hatchlings to make them grow please.
