He lives quite far away from them; they're in New Jersey, he's here in New Brunswick.
Er, not the New Brunswick in NJ, the one is NB. sweatdrop
But he says it's too hard to pretend if he's in a relationship, and that he really can't deal with one right now, anyway.

We didn't really talk. He was just here briefly, and he was pretty upset. I really don't know what will happen, since supposedly this has nothing to do with how he feels for me, but because of the circumstances he's in at the moment. I don't plan on waiting around for him (not that there are other prospects), I just don't want to wait for something that very well may never happen.

*hugs Aretoo* I agree, about the situation. But if he isn't ready to be in a relationship, then it would have ended badly one way or another. I don't have a great history of being friends with my exes, so I'm hoping this is different...
