I messed up too scarlet. After work a couple hours ago the new internet security program my room mate put on the puter gave me this box as I got online to allow or deny access to something and I thought "well it's the security program so maybe it's bad" I clicked deny and nooooo internet! Yay gonk not. So he had to go fiddle with the firewalls and such and finally just fixed it. But for a while there we thought we were screwed. Thank gawd he has computer degrees and lotsa patience with me. Hopefully your parents are patient too. I'll cross my fingers for you. 3nodding

most firewalls have a list of programs that are allowed or denied. you just have to know which are the important ones. there's one (I'd have to look for the name) that is mandatory for internet access. it's a system program.
for digicams, I wouldn't ever hold more than a few days worth of pictures on there at a time. transfer them to the compy confused

I hereby declare ReBoot to be the coolest thing to ever come out of 90's T.V, Beast Wars being an extremely close second. Those who do not agree have no soul.
