That speaker click happens in the pilots' headsets and screws with their communications. They also want you to be aware of what's going on, seeing as how take-off and landing are the most dangerous parts of flying...

And I smell terrible!

sorry for my abrupt, long & drawn out absence, I got distracted with a phone call to brave_terra, and then I had to help shawna_abel with her dragon eggs (which I am now carrying around as well). I can't carry around any more eggs. Please no one ask me to help more than I am. I've got mine, my daughter's and three friends' eggs/hatchlings at any given time, lol....
