Eh, no. I love pit bulls! I want to own one, but my house isn't big enough and I don't have a fenced yard.

for me, I prefer the American Bull Dog, like Chance from homeward bound the movie. They are by nature as strong as a pit as well as they have a natural sweeter disposition. Though I would love to own a pit none the less ha ha.

Gee, that's the type of dog I was talking about, the one like Chance from Homeward bound... I just don't like the stereotypes people have put on them. It's kind of sad.

I like most of the big dog breeds. I especially want a Great Dane.

Just for me personally, I prefer a large breed dog that has more of a hide rather than a coat of fur. Mastiff's are awesome big dogs too.

Kind of like Alaskan Malimuits (sp?), they look like very large siberian huskeys

Like that kind of fur, yes, I prefer to not have a fluffy dog but I love Alaskan Malamutes. I doubt I could really own one because of their shedding.

Man, shedding drives me nuts. If I was able to get a big dog then I'd make sure it could be outside and shed out there most of the time, but I'd let it in at night and if the weather was just not appropriate to keep an animal outside in (too hot, too cold, rainy, snowing, etc.)

Not me, I couldn't make a dog a mostly outside dog. I feel it is just too cruel no matter the temp. because dogs are pack animals and to be separated from the pack is mean to them even if they do shed 10lbs of fur a day (lol exaggeration of course)

Oh. I don't see it as cruel if you have more than one dog. Plus I am outside most of the time anys ways when the weather permits, so either way the dog would have company.

Probably if you're outside a lot it wouldn't be bad, but I believe it's best to have them inside and crate trained if you don't want them on the furniture.

Quite true. My little dog has a nice little comfy doggy bed that she sleeps on or lays on during the day and at night she sleeps in her crate. Works perfect.

Right you are, the hard part is crate training them though because most dogs cry so much over it it just breaks my heart! crying
