Okay, again assuming that monk was okay, I've got a character sheet made up. I'm always indecisive on skills and feats, but I went and did a quick-messy of those. domokun http://www.dndonlinegames.com/view.php?id=37776Tell me if I've forgotten anything, I tend to do that sometimes. sweatdrop Edit: Oh! I wasn't sure about XP so I just put it at the bottom threshhold of 5th level.

Heheh. I'm a quick character sheet maker. I'll think/write him up some more personality. Right now I've got a concept, but I need to broaden it.

Okay, well, I was going to have this super cool thing where everyone picked a devision of the army and got a different set of items. But it's taking me way to long to balance it so I'm just oging to give everyone a basic package of items and then optimise so basic equipmnt options.
Everyone must carry the following: a uniform a backpack (2lbs) a bedroll (5lbs) a compleate set of eating utencils+a plate and cup (-lbs) a flint and steel (-lbs) a signal whistle (sounds like a bird call, -lbs) a bar of soap (-lbs) 2 torches (2lbs) a waterkin (full, 4lbs) a whet stone
Everyone has the option of taking up to 30gp worth of equipment from the "Adventring Gear" "Special Substances and Items" "Tools and Skill Kits" or "clothing" item lists.
Weapon and armor options:
All armor will be masterwork.
Charactors have a number of options here: Package one: Any +1 armor, a sheild and a weapon Package two: Any +1 weapon, a regular weapon or sheild, and any armor Package three: 2 +1 weapons Package four: For the charactor who dosn't intend to get physical, +100gp worth of items from the lists above+"Mounts and Related Gear", and a saber (stats below)
Everyone also has the option of carrying two spendable weapons, such as darts or daggers, this is required for people with bows, they must take at least one spendable weapon as a quiver of arrows.
Repeating crossbows cannot be taken.
You're uniform must be donned when not wearing armor and counts as padded armor with no penalties If you have no idea what kind of weapon to take, take a saber, the weapon of choice for the basic foot soldier in the Cumbrain army.
Saber: The same as a rapier but with the following changes, Crit: 19-20/x2 Type: Slashing (all Cumbrian army members are proficient with this weapon, a charactor hailing from Cumbria does not need any feats to use this weapon)
Edit: I made it so that only armor is masterwork, because a +1 enchantment is the same as a masterwork weapon, and the two don't stack. My bad.

If we happen to want a Composite Longbow, would we be allowed to add the points of STR modifier damage to it?

Antun If we happen to want a Composite Longbow, would we be allowed to add the points of STR modifier damage to it? That's what a composite longbow is. Use your ranged modifer for the attack roll and add strength to damage.

Question: So the uniform provides the same AC as padded, but isn't counted as armor for the purposes of, say, my monk's added speed or his AC Bonus?
Edits: Character Sheet updated assuming that the answer to my questions was yes.

Edits: Character Sheet updated assuming that the answer to my questions was yes. You're correct. the uniform counts as padded with no negitive effects.

Okay, good. If you've checked out my char sheet you'll notice I've got my gear, too. I had to do it with the SRD since I was at work at the time, so I hope it's all correct.

Okay so now we need to decide the player ranks:
Two of you can take the higher up positions of Sergent and Corperal, the rest will be stuck with Private. Does anyone want to volenteer for a rank?
