I hate being in a place where I want to kill my roommates. And I tend to be a bit quick to those notions on roommates.... Why is it that most people can't stand to live with most people?

Not really, Kit. Woke up with a splitting headache (that hasn't gotten much better), I can't sleep, and I have to be at work in... 7 hours...

I am about to be moving in with my boyfriend (Lord). Now Lord and I have been going out for sometime, and I generally think we will be okay. We didn't kill each other on a 14 hour drive from MA to VA without any stops nor on the way home. However we have both learned a couple things, each of us need our own room to be in sometimes. When we are too cramped of each other for too long we get cranky and small misunderstandings happen.

I had to do the cat litter because I don't want the cats pissing everywhere because their litterboxes are too full. The dishes aren't mine so I won't do it.

I think the worst/most amusing for me was when I was an RA in college, and had two roommates.
When I moved in before they came back from break, I had noticed a trash bag in the closet. Thought it was weird, but whatever...I move past it. School goes on for a bit, and I'm the only one taking out trash. I ask my roommates to help out. No problem from them...the trash disappears, all is fine. But the hallway gets this...smell.
Yeah...roommates...totally hiding the trash in the closet like I ain't gonna notice. I bring alllllll the trash back into the kitchen (it fills about 1/2 of the room), and since I have class, leave a note for them to, you know, ACTUALLY take out the trash. They finally do, and things seem fine again for a while. Until I decide to just check the closet. Yeah. They totally hid the trash again. They must have really thought I was stupid. And I was an RA!
They did other s**t too, but the trash was always my favorite part.
