Yeah, but with the coffee you're relying on caffeine alone. Excessive caffeine makes you irritable, twitchy, and all-around miserable. Those energy shots only have about 100mg of caffeine in them, instead relying on b-vitamins...
And... that's an interesting reason to take off work...

I'm actually hoping that the show isn't too stressful for her. I know she's going to win the case and all, but Judge Judy is a one bad mother...
It's also incredibly crazy how much sh*t they give you just for being in the show. If I remember correctly this is what my boss gets: paid flight to and from LA for her and a friend, paid room and board with a 70 USD per person stipend for food, a 500 USD gift for just being on the show, plus the money she gets from winning the case (5000 USD).
Edit: Ah, yeah, that's right. Well, I'll see if I can hop-skip-jump over to the gas station for one of those things before my shift. I don't foresee a problem though if I don't take one. I can probably get a little bit of sleep before then.

I... never watched Judge Judy just never got it
Caffeine has never had an effect on me, I can drink a huge cup of coffee right before bed and I'll STILL fall asleep within a few minutes if I'm tired enough to begin with.

Oh, Sanzo, you should know better than that! All drugs take time to take effect. If you take it just before going to sleep then you can still fall asleep before it takes effect.

To be honest, I actually find that drinking a cup of warm caffeinated beverage (doesn't have to be strong) before bed actually helps me feel more rested.
Speaking of, I'm going to try sleeping again. If I fall asleep and wake up at 3:30 that gives me about five hours of sleep (though unfortunately it's not continuous). Good evening all!

@Tsuji let me rephrase that.. no matter WHEN I take caffeine it doesn't affect me, if I'm tired I will continue to be tired all day.
