Larai was busy cleaning her glasses after putting her hair up in her signature messy ponytail. Instead of the usual baggy sweater, she wore a form-fitting white dress shirt which showed a fair bit of cleavage. She also wore a black minyskirt, which was a couple inches shorter than what she'd normally wear. Why the slightly fanservicey outfit, you ask? Well, she had an arguement with a friend who seemed to think that just because Larai was nerdy she'd never be able to attract any guy she wanted and that she'd eventually have to settle for someone ugly and boring. Over the years, Kai's stubborness had seemed to rub off on her - making her a little more adamant than when she was little. Currently, she had forgotten that she and Kai were going to babysitt Daemon for today.

"Kinda flashy for babysitting, don'tcha think?" Kai said as he leaned against the door frame to his sister's room. He looked thoroughly annoyed that he got roped into the babysitting job, but couldn't really do anything about it.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Aw shi...!" Larai exclaimed, her eyes widening a bit after hearing what Kai said. "You mean that we have to do it today?! I was going to prove that skank wrong today!" she whined childishly, clearly dissappointed that she'd have to wait for another day.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Take it up with mom and dad. I don't wanna do it either, but they're being stubborn as usual." Kai said folding his arms grumpily. "Stupid 'family obligations' crap...."

Just as Larai put her glasses on, there was a knocking on the door. "Too late for that, Kai."she sighed softly to herself.

Milly stood at the door, waiting patiently while holding the young Daemon on her hip. Despite the daddy-issues she had with him before, she was a generally affectionate mother. Needless to say, she wasn't entirely content living as a mother either - she never wanted a child. She never wanted to experience something like birth, but she had to. For her family.

Kai made the motion of putting a gun to his head and pulling the trigger before following Larai downstairs.

Needless to say, Daemon was a very grumpy child. Stupid kiddie body and its inability to do much of anything remotely useful.

Sometimes, Milly would tease Daemon about his age and body. Like now she said, "Oh, don't worrie sweetie-pie! In ten or so years, you might not need a babysitter anymore! You'll probably have horrible acne, smell bad, and no girl in her right mind will ever want to touch you, but you won't need a babysitter!"
