 Addie couldn't hold her smile as she watched her sister get smashed by her bludger another beater even tried to block it but missed. The first year was really beginning to enjoy quidditch. Deciding not to send another bludger at her sister again just yet she decided to see if she could hit another person. She found a bludger and wailed it away towards Tanya the dark haired chaser. Dani was quite surprised when she plucked the little ball out of the air, as it zigged right into her hand when it likely should have zagged, and it took a moment for the fact to register with her. When it did, she held the Golden Snitch aloft for the others to see. "I caught it!" she said excitedly. "Hey, Toby, do you want me to let it go again?"
Honestly, this shaped up to be the best try-out she'd ever had.

Toby knew now was the time to wrap up tryouts, especially since Dani had just caught the snitch. "Good job, Dani. And hold onto that, we've gotta end things for today." He would have liked to stay out longer, but people were probably getting tired one the adrenaline rush started to wear off, and he needed to figure out his team. He flew over to Leo with a small grin. "Help me see where to put everyone?" If he could, he'd like to fit everyone on the team or as a reserve, and honestly, he didn't want it all resting on him.   Location: Quidditch Pitch (Try-outs) With the end of try-outs Leonette was impressed with what she saw for the day. There were so many good players but they all couldn't be on the team. When it came done to it she knew who they should put on starting line, only one position was shaky with her. "You got it Toby." Leonette replied to the older Gryffindor as they landed. It didn't take them long before they made their decision and the team was announced. "Thanks for trying out everyone."

 Location: Quidditch Pitch (Try-outs) Leonette was super nervous about try-outs. Not because they were try-outs but because she was the Captain. She made the tough decisions and one of them was coming down the pipe. After talking with David Leonette had decided she'd ask Julius to be her vice-captain. If he turned it down then she'd go with her back up plans for asking Tanya. She didn't think he would say no but who really could be sure. He supposed he was early. Though, he'd have thought if Leo was here her vice captain would be. Then he realized no one had said yet one way or another who was vice captain, and the options were a bit limited... either way, whomever she chose, Julius figured it would be interesting as they lost both their beaters this year and that was one of their strengths as a team. It wasn't like they had a particularly strong seeker or anything... he should know, he's been the main seeker for two years now, reserve seeker for one. He took the typical form the same that was there every year and said, "Hey Leo, guess I'm a bit early... better early than late, though?" His voice ended with the slightest bit of a question as he looked down and began to work on the form. Arriving at the pitch with her broomstick over her shoulder, Dani found herself in an odd mood. Unlike previous years she wasn't all that excited about the start of the season, and the tryouts merely a formality for her. When it got right down to it, she was here to support her friends, even if she didn't get to play.
Had she been Sorted into almost any other House in Hogwarts she would already have had at least a few real games under her belt. Yet, here she was going into her Fifth Year, and she'd yet to be involved in a game that meant anything, and she doubted this time would be any different. Last year, she beat Julius to the Snitch twice in tryouts and ably defended the goals, and still she'd been relegated to the Reserves.
No, she figured she would tryout again, and, aside from practices and scrimmages, her season would already be over, as reserves were rarely pulled into a game, at least while she'd been at the school. 'I'm going to fly, and have some fun,' she thought, trying hard to feel some measure of her usual positive nature, 'and who knows, maybe I'll catch a break next year.'
Dani arrived dressed in a pair of trainers, a comfortable pair of jeans, her oversized Holyhead Harpies jersey, and a tanktop underneath. "Hi, Leo. Hi, Julius," she said. "Nice day for flying." She took up the form and started filling it out.

Location: Quidditch Pitch (Try-outs) Leonette smiled at Julius came over. This was her chance to ask him. Oh god she hoped he said yes. “Hey Julius, you’re right about that. Actually I wanting to ask you… would you consider being vice-captain for the team? ” She asked trying to hide her nervousness. ‘Please say yes… please say yes…’ she thought, if he didn’t she’d be relaying on Tanya and then with everything else… Leonette didn’t even want to think about it. When Dani came over and greeted them Leonette could tell something was off. Then she thought about how her friend has always been put on reserve no matter how she did. That must be rough… but she played an important role. I'll be the guard dog of all your fever dreams. ❁ ❀ ✿ Tanya walked out onto the field with a large grin on her face happy for tryouts but mainly happy to just be out of the castle. Seventh year was already drawing itself out to be one of her longest and most annoying years yet and she was sooo not looking forward to it. But Quidditch? She always had time for that! It was a great stress reliever after all. It was probably better if you were a beater but she got to fly around for a few hours each week, nothing was better than that in her opinion. She waved when she saw that Leo, Julius, and Dani were already there and jogged the last few kilometers to catch up to them. "Hey guys, ready to win ourselves a cup?" she asked rhetorically as she began her usual warm-up stretches. This would be their year, or at least it better be since it was her last.
