Powers’ credo for modeling in the 1940s was: “naturalness is more attractive than artificiality.” Vicki Vantoch, Ambassador of the Air, p. 87Yay for natural beauty!

In the 1930s, obviously dyed blonde hair was associated with celebrities- - such as Mae West--who displayed audacious sexuality. “Natural” blondes, however, represented innocent, small town, white “American” womanhood. In fact, brunette hair was by and large the mainstream beauty ideal for women in the United States until the mid-1950s. Dyed blonde hair replaced it in the late 1950s, after Marilyn Monroe erupted onto the cultural scene and the Clairol company improved artificial hair-dye and launched a major ad campaign for blonde hair (1956). ~ Vicki Vantoch, Ambassador of the Air, p. 97I wonder how people would've viewed my hair color. I'm a natural golden blond - right in the middle between blonde and brunette.

I was having fun playing around with a MLP pony maker that Saikii shared. It was cool to input my OC pony in there and see her in action.
I'm starting to like this new OC pony I created than my original one. Probably because her name and personality better suits me. I guess my old one could be the pony version of myself (like how Lauren Faust has her pony self) and my OC will be an actual character in the MLP:FIM universe.

Looks like I've got plans for tonight to help my friend Melissa search for a plastic gun for her to paint and use for one of her cosplays she'll wear to ECCC.

"...She lacks some things in personality and I believe would have some difficulty in greeting and conversing with passengers.” ~ Vicki Vantoch, Ambassador of the Air, p. 130There's a part of me that feels that some interviewers would say the same about me from what little they see of me during the interviews.

Hello again. I'll be posting here for a little bit.
My plans with my friend ended up getting cancelled due to something coming up on her end ((which she'll explain to me later, since she was still at work at the time)).

*looks at various photo sets of geek-oriented weddings* I honestly wouldn't be surprised if some geekiness leaked itself into my future wedding, especially since I've been falling for a lot of geeky guys lately. And I'm re-embracing my inner geek too.
