And I wear super sunblock, though I wait a good 20 minutes before putting it on so I can get my daily dose of vitamin D from the sun. In any case, they've come out with a lot of new research saying that tanning isn't half as bad for you as they've been saying. surprised PLUS I look horrible when I'm pasty white and I get weirdo bumps on my skin when I don't spend time out in the sun... I just generally look and feel better with a bit of a glow. talk2hand and dont forget kids if you dont get enough sun it can shorten your life ^^ Exactly. surprised I'm about to move to Wisconsin, so I need to get as much sun now as I can because I won't really be seeing it until next summer. emo And there's no waaay I'm opting for a tanning bed. I like my natural skin pigment. Even if I am white why try to be something I 'm not

I just don't like them because they're filthy, confining, and give you more of an orange than a "kissed by the sun" look. gonk

It's just skin pigment, it's not going to change your whole sense of being. In any case it's good that you like your skin the way it is, but remember that it's not good to not get any sun at all. The sun is the healthiest source of vitamin D out there.
