And I wear super sunblock, though I wait a good 20 minutes before putting it on so I can get my daily dose of vitamin D from the sun. In any case, they've come out with a lot of new research saying that tanning isn't half as bad for you as they've been saying. surprised PLUS I look horrible when I'm pasty white and I get weirdo bumps on my skin when I don't spend time out in the sun... I just generally look and feel better with a bit of a glow. talk2hand and dont forget kids if you dont get enough sun it can shorten your life ^^ Exactly. surprised I'm about to move to Wisconsin, so I need to get as much sun now as I can because I won't really be seeing it until next summer. emo And there's no waaay I'm opting for a tanning bed. Tanning bed=skin cancer 3nodding Only if you do it too much, it's really not much worse for you than sitting out in the sun... I just don't like them because they're filthy, confining, and give you more of an orange than a "kissed by the sun" look. gonk spray on tans turn you orange too And they come off all blotchy and look horrible. x_x @ Deathy: Not if you're careful. surprised rofl

I like my natural skin pigment. Even if I am white why try to be something I 'm not What does getting a bit of a tan have to do with changing who you are...? It's just skin pigment, it's not going to change your whole sense of being. It changes what I look like and personally thats a lot of who I am. Thats part of how I define me. I don't want to look tan. I'm happy with the way I am. But if some one else wants to tan I don't care. I'm just against tanning beds.

Then why did you start on me? whee I said I was going to the beach... I stray from tanning beds because most places don't keep them clean enough and they give people ugly tans. xD
