on a some what off the wall note how did a club thread become the general discussion for the whole guild?

I... don't remember... basically it was a hang out thread so that when you didn't have anything specific to talk about and just wanted to chat with friends you could do it in here 3nodding

it used to grow a hell of a lot faster... you'd leave for a couple of hours and 20 pages would appear

well probably because the guild slowed down, a lot of the regulars in the thread left the guild or took breaks and when they came back things were really slow. It's probably a mix of things.

but shouldn't new regulars be introduced at about the same rate that old ones leave?

not necessarily, a lot of people find this thread... intimidating so they don't come in. I mean we have new regulars that's true but its really hard to get them. Not only that but if the guild is having people drop at a higher rate than new members are joining... yeah its not gonna even out
