Jordan walked onto the pitch, feeling a little shy. He hadn't recognized anyone from any of his classes thus far, and he also had only one flying class so far. Who even knew if he'd be able to make it up in the air. Nevertheless, Jordan filled out a form and handed it back to the popular, older guy who he assumed must have been in charge around here.

.¸¸.•´´¯`•Laili had never been more glad to be over her crush on Chance because it would've been mega awkward to have to be his vice captain if she still was. Plus she had a boyfriend! Sort of. She really liked Nath, and she really liked dating him, but it was the stuff that kinda came with dating him she didn't like. Namely the kissing part. A peck here or there was fine but like, full on makeouts left her feeling...weird to say the least. Like she was somehow on stage and everyone could tell it wasn't really real which honestly didn't make sense to her. Maybe she just had to talk to him a bit more about it. She'd tried researching asexuality since she'd heard that this was sort of a sign of it but once she was on a site to test it she quickly turned off the computer with a bright red face and a complete certainty that she was not in fact asexual. But that still left allot of questions. Which could be answered after tryouts. Laili gave Chance a big grin and wave as she took a form in her hand not holding her broom and filled it out.

spaceSher was torn between excitement and trepidation as he made it to tryouts. On the one hand, he would almost definitely be first string this year. On the other hand... well, he would almost definitely be first string. It wouldn't be so bad, he figured, if he were a chaser, and therefore had two other people to rely on helping him do his job. Or even a beater, at least pressure-wise (though you couldn't convince him to play beater for all the money in the world). But no, he was keeper, which meant that every ball that went through the goals was a personal failure, and a failure to the team. He tried to banish those thoughts, but it wasn't easy. Especially not since he didn't have Chrys here to cheer him on this year, what with her graduating. Then again, given the events of the Summer, he wasn't sure she would've been here, anyway. Which was depressing, to say the least. He sighed, filling out his form more or less autonomously, then went to start his stretches. If he was going to have to actually play, he'd better be prepared.

Lizzy was feeling quite positive as she arrived at the Quidditch pitch for the tryouts. She had a new broom and she felt good about her abilities, although that was a dangerous thing, she acknowledged. Whenever she felt like things were going right, they were probably going to go wrong but she couldn't let her negativity spoil things yet. She wasn't going to make first string this year so if she messed things up, it wouldn't affect the team much, if she messed it up, that is since she might not. She had to look at the bright side, right? She waved at her fellow teammates already on the pitch and willed herself not to feel self-conscious as she filled out her form and handed it back to Chance before warming up, forcing her eyes down and not letting them wander as was their disturbing recent habit.

Lucien was stretching his arms as he arrived, ready to start another year of Quidditch. He felt that he will have a lot in his plate since he was a fresh prefect, though he hope that it won't be a big issue. Besides he didn't feel like abandoning his sport either, since he thought that it would be terrible if he wasted one of his ways to let off steam. Speaking of steam, his housemate Sher didn't look like he was letting off steam. He looked like a pressure cooker, but like, Lucien felt that that's Sherwood Meadows for you though at least it's not anything like during their first years. Lucien did his stretches, standing beside Sher and told him without looking, though his tone was sincere as always, "You'll do great in your job, if that's what you're worrying about being first-string."

Chance watched as people got tot he pitch, grinning and waving to the people as they entered. However, once it looked like everyone was there, he straightened, crossing his arms and examining everyone before he decided to speak."Hello and welcome to tryouts. For those of you unaware, I'm Chance Whitethorne, captain of the team, and Laili Abrams is my vice-captain. I've just got a couple of rules that you have to abide by on the team, which are pretty easy for anyone to abide my. One, respect each other, and two, don't be late to practice or games. Mary tied her hair up as Chance spoke, getting ready for tryouts to begin. Fiddling with her hair calmed her nerves, which she seemed to feel every time she took flight. It wasn't bad nerves, more excited and happy nerves then anything, but they still existed. Mary took note that she was on the Black team with Donella and Jordan as chasers, Philip for beater, and Sher for keeper. Mary happily did her three laps and then readied herself for the tossup. Immediately, Mary lunged forward in hopes to get the quaffle before Lucien, Shui, or Laili.
Mera nodded quietly and flew up to begin her search. She may end up reserve but she sure will beat Liz first.
