So my brother and I were discussing today about producing a comic book called "Johnny Cash agent of the KGB" in which Cash's death was faked, and he ends up going on adventures around the world as an international secret agent of the KGB.
Would you buy it? surprised

Well, it's certainly a different concept, Jimmy. In order for me to even consider buying it, though, it would have to have wicked good art and writing.

You should try it sometime. They're cheap(ish), entertaining, juicy; new comic books are the new old comic books. If you know what I mean. wink

I'll write and script it, and I'll get... I dunno, Slim or somebody to draw it. Maybe Waku would be desperate enough to work for me when I start publishing. But yeah, you can count on me not to screw up such an awesome concept as a combination of Johnny Cash and the KGB. I know what those things are to people, and I'd never forsake that. But you can bet, when they make it into a movie, it'll be horrible.

Sanzoskitsune I'm actually slowly starting to get into comic books... I blame new comic book based movies and Batman So you're reading Batman? I can't bring myself to read DC, they're stuff is... too squared off. I LOVE Virtigo, I think the stuff they publish is amazing in all it's forms. I'm only just starting to read some stuff by Marvel, but even I am staying pretty far away from their run-of-the-mill stuff. If you ever want a juicy comic read Thunderbolts; it has my personal stamp of approval.

I shall look into that Jimmy and really well... I'm a Batman fangirl, I always have been and probably always will be. Even if the rest of DC's stuff was crap I'd still love Batman to death.
