As if to add insult to injury, the fire stone that had once been in their bag had suddenly... run out. It wasn't surprising, what was surprising was that it had taken so long to run out with such a hard fall.

The winds shifted again and the Thread returned quickly. Vith managed to Flame down what came near them, Betweening away from what he couldn't sear, and all in all did pretty good while still distracted by his tongue.

Flaming all that Thread made their firestone supply run low. Vith swooped a bit lower after calling for a refill and K'mar waited for the runner that would bring up a fresh sack. He caught the tossed bag and gave the older rider a salute of thanks before refilling their own bag.

Y'vel and White Desrath
With a fond farewell Tylefisan, Y'vel climbed abroad Desrath's narrow back, and they launched up into the air to join their wing above. Thankfully Flame's Fury was presently fighting in the low altitude, which gave them an opportunity to do their equal part. When they appeared from between, they were in easy range of a tangle of thread, which Desrath skillfully turned into ash.

Once more wind threatened to blow the pair of them off course and D'ein tightened his grip just a bit as Haezeth forced them back into position. Red eyes seemed to deepen up just a bit as the bronze rumbled about being knocked around.

Now back in place, his tongue not throbbing from the bite he'd given it, Haezeth cracked away from his position suddenly, leaping between with a warning from his rider almost faster than before. Instantly they appeared well above where they'd been and one shot of flame had the thread that threatened them crumbling.

Jumping into Threadfall halfway was always risky, but even down this low it managed to find them so easily! Miryath didn't even cry out as she jumped away to crumble the offender away.
