The scarlet engine pulls into the station, ready to start the long journey to another year of school. Students and parents come to board the train to go another year. In an hour or so, the train will pull out, taking students to Hogwarts.
((OOC: You may begin posting students arriving to start the new year at school. The train will be leaving the station on the 25th for the school.))
Jeremy was a bit nervous for this train ride. He had a plan that he was not sure was going to work out. He had hung out with Lena a girl a year above him while she taught him knitting. He found he quite liked her. She was friendly but not overbearing so. She didn't assume he was angry or sad just cause he wasn't smiling all the time. Though he found he did that more around her. He asked his dad for some advice and his dad confirmed his suspicions. Jeremy totally had a crush. The plan was to see if Lena liked him back as well. It be silly to have a crush and not know if she did as well. He had mustered all his courage by the time his stuff was loaded. He looked around and spotted Lena. His dad tapped him a bit on the shoulder and told him: go get'em champ. Jeremy was not use to being this nervous, and he wasnt a fan. He keep Bludger with him as at least his hands could nervously pet him. He walked over to where Lena was. "Hey Lena. How was your summer?" Jeremy said. Yes. Be friendly and work your way too it. He could do that.

Felix was wishing he had a different way to Hogwarts this year. Oh he loved the train ride he just didnโt want people staring at his black eye. It was certainly almost healed, but the the bruising was still there. That and all the stress of getting everything packed had him frazzled. Splat, his new Turkish Van kitten, was asslep in the small carrier His brother came along which was nice, he seemed to want to make it up to Felix for being a jerk in thier younger years. Felix tried to keep his face hidden. Mabye he could sneak on the train. He missed Eddie who he had lost owl and computer communications with just before the insanity with his dad a a short time ago. Felix knew Eddie would wanna find him and would worry about him. But Felix didnt want him to worry. Perhaps he could find a 7th year that took healing to fix his black eye before they got to school. Then they could hang at the sorting feast!

Quinn Ezekiel Conri-Dechering <2nd Year>
Mary Fidelma Conri-Dechering <2nd year><"American Girl" and Georgia Peach>
Mary and Quinn had spent the summer mostly in Georgia with their Grandmother except for the last week or so which they had spent with their Aunt Sophie and their grandmother had come along. Their grandmother was the one who had dropped them off at the station. She kissed both on the cheek and waved farewell to them both. Neither were as nervous as they were last year, having already mastered a year at Hogwarts. Quinn was looking forward to boarding the train and getting to read a bit if he lucked out, though he wasn't sure if it was possible with how excited his sister was. Mary was almost bouncing on her tiptoes as she looked about the station.
"I do hope we find someone friendly to ride the train with," Mary was saying. Quinn nodded with a half shrug, indulging his sister's excitement. Mary smiled as she looked to the train, "It's pretty isn't it? And we get to take the carriages this year. Absolutely magical, right? And we get to use magic again without getting into trouble." She spun around and then stopping clapped her hands together and declared, "This is going to be a good year."
"Sure, no reason for it not to be," Quinn said with a half smile, shaking his head at his sister's confidence.
Things aren't easy So just believe me now If you can keep it cool now And never make a sound.
Shui was super excited he was going to the best kind of new school, a magic one! Initally his parents and him were worried as the noticed the fraction on Shui's ticket but older girl came over and helped. Her trolley had stuff like his too. She told them then showed them that they needed to go trough a spot on the wall. Well thats one way to hide a magic train station. He knew if he didnt run he chicken out so along with his parent they made it trough. He moved away from the entry just in case someone else needed to use it. He got some help from his parent to get stuff where it needed to go. Being urged by his parents to go make a friend he wandered a bit seeing if he find someone to chat with or even just to ride with.

OWL year... Rhett dreaded it and looked forward to it. He always looked forward to the school year, meeting with friends regularly, exploring the castle and the grounds, and music club (even though he found that he wasn't one of the most talented members). However, he was dreading the exams and all the extra studying and preparation. Thankfully, his sister Lola helped prepare him and his internship with his Dad and helping with the family garden definitely prepped him well for the OWLs. He hoped to catch sight of his favorite white haired girl or Ferdie in the crowd. Both were likely to stand out more than him with his average height and generally unremarkable features, even if some liked to tell him how 'pretty' he was.

Cian was so happy Aeryn decided to come see him off for his second year. Being the dare even she was she was riding the front of his trolley He knew which pillar he needed to hit to go through. Aeryn knew he knee just not what pillar he was not late but he was at a full run looking around Aeryn to not crash. Their parents were not too far behind but too far back to truly stop the duo. He aimed the trolly just right so he be able to slow as soon as he was through. They made it trough and was quickly caught up to by their out of breath parents. Even Cian was breathing a bit heavy. Maybe he would spot the twins. Aeryn would like them.
And hope that this is just imagination Girl but all the while You hear a creature creeping up behind You're out of time

Faina PatrovnaxxxxxxxxxxxxxKatya Patrovna Slytherin Fifth Year xxxxxxxxxxxx Hufflepuff Second Year
Given what all had taken place over the summer, Faina considered herself lucky her mother and Cousin Sergei even allowed her and Katya out of the house, let alone let them come to school. After they got past being mad over the little trip to Coventry, they were justifiably concerned about what happened on their trip. The only saving grace was that she offered to put Katya on the Knight Bus prior to her attempt to visit their father's new house, and after they got attacked, her first priority was getting her little sister away from any additional danger. Faina had few illusions that they were lucky to get away without more than minor injuries.
"Stay close, Kitten," she told her sister in a quiet voice, determined to get them both on the train without any issues. Katya nodded her head, knowing her sister wouldn't relax until after the train pulled out of the station. "Okay," she said, as her wide blue eyes took in the sight of students and their families on the platform. Both of the girls were hoping to spot friends among the knots of people. Today would be the ride north, and the Feast, and then Faina had OWL preparations to look forward to, among all the other things that came with being an incoming Fifth Year. Katya wanted to be with her friends, and go to clubs and the chance to put her summer behind her.
Well you're walkin' and a talkin' And a movin' and a groovin' And a hippin' and a hoppin' And a pickin' and a boppin' Those bods are being bad You better take a stand You gonna wake up that thing in your hand
โชโชโชJack ran through the barrier with his twin right behind him and their slightly exasperated mother right behind them probably along with their sister. Neither of them could really understand whhyyyy they were forced to take the train again since they actually lived in Scotland but they were foiled by both parents. The Gryffindor just thought they'd want to enjoy a few hours alone together before his mum had to be at the feast. Good Lord, they'd have to sit through the whole sorting this time around wouldn't they?! "Hey, be sure to stock up on goodies from the trolley." he murmured to his brother when he was close enough who took on a look of confusion. When he whispered about the feast Will's eyes widened dramatically and nodded in agreement. Between the two of them and maybe Cian, they should have enough for a few decent treats, and if not they could always go beg their cousin for some. Theo was always bringing something to share on the train, he couldn't possibly be so heartless as to not give some to his adorable younger cousins right? They were just given their final hugs and yearly warnings when their friend burst though the barrier with a girl hanging off the front which they had to assume (or hope) was his little sister. After saying their goodbyes, they rushed over to Cian knowing Izzy would probably be happy to leave them and find her own friends. "Hey Cian!""How was your summer?" they asked in tandem.

Lena had made it to the platform early, her parents dropped her off. The family had spent the night in a fancy hotel in London, celebrating another year about to begin. On the platform, she stood toward the middle, waiting to find a friend as they inevitably wandered onto the platform. Oliver was nestled in the excess of her favorite scarf, the tiny owl peeking up every so often to identify the noises of chatter. A bright grin donned the girl's face when a familiar voice sounded out. Lena turned to face Jeremy, reaching out a hand to lovingly pat Bludger too. "My summer was lovely, thank you. How was yours?" She grinned, looking over at her shoulder when Oliver popped up and cooed.
โฟโซโโฎAs per usual, Elvira was part of the early crowd on the platform pushing her cart through while Eoin confidently rode on top and her papa resurfaced seconds later. She had finally grown another few inches but it wasn't as gratifying as she would've liked. The teen now stood at a decent five foot three inches pretty sure she wasn't likely to grow much farther past it. She was relatively fine with it, it just meant it would be easier to shop for shirts without worrying they'd be too short. It also meant she had to get on her tip toes when she would have to see through the crowd which thankfully there was none yet. Elvira made sure to hug her papa just a tad longer and harder than previous years knowing he was dealing with a startling difficult case at work. Which she had no idea about other than the client's name either started with a "V" or a "D" from the way she sometimes heard him mumbling. Niall had become paler and was starting to grow thinner than she'd like so she also made an mental note to ask Rubin to rectify this once she spotted him, Drew, and the twins. After securing her trunk on the train and another short goodbye, Elvira was left alone, besides Eoin of course, and took a seat on a nearby bench before pulling out a sudoku workbook. Surprisingly enough, her uncle had been the one to recommend getting one to help with Arithmancy and she'd been pleasantly shocked to see that it had helped. As well as being shocked that her uncle had apparently taken Arithmancy in his lifetime. Would wonders never cease.[color =#FC6C85]"T

Chance eyed his best friend as he walked through the barrier with Byuch, shifting his guitar case. It had been a very odd summer, to say the least bit. While yes, he was still half expecting his father to pick him up from the train station when he got to London, that was actually pretty minor compared to the rest of it. First was his breakup with Felicity, which had occurred because she couldn't stand the fact that Chance actually wanted to see his friends. That, well, he figured it was going to bite him in the arse at some point. Then was Byuch showing up at his house, extremely annoyed and dragging both his trunk as well as his little brother along for the ride. Chance had almost wanted to tell him to leave, but he couldn't exactly do that, not with how Byuch had seemed to lock eyes with him and suddenly it didn't matter that they had been fighting for over a year. Something had happened, and his best friend had sought him out to help.
Chance had of course willingly asked his mum if it was alright, and then, since he knew his flat wasn't nearly large enough to house six kids, asked his aunt and uncle if Detch could stay with them. Byuch had insisted that he wasn't going back home, and he wasn't leaving Detch to deal with their father. Chance had to wonder what had happened, but Byuch wasn't saying. Chance was also annoyed at himself. He'd managed to cut Byuch out of his life so completely over the last two years that he hadn't realized his best friend was having any issues at home. However, Chance was determined to not let that happen again and try to help out as much as possible.
Add to that the fact that now he had a career to worry about, and his summer suddenly became a lot more hectic than he was used to. He'd thought that making music and playing were something that was easy, but he found out otherwise. Now every time he put pen to paper, it seemed like it was all garbage. Thankfully he didn't have to worry too much about it over the school year. Which caused him to glance down at the diminutive Slytherin beside him. Maybe this school year, while he had added responsibilities to deal with, wasn't going to be so bad. Maybe."So, should we go looking for a cabin or wait for friends first?"
Byuch glanced up at him and rolled his eyes."What, look for a cabin and have your adoring fan club try to hunt me down to burn me at the stake? No thanks Tree Trunk, might as well wait for everyone else to show up."
Chance noticed a blush form on the half-goblin's face before he strode purposefully forward to deposit his trunk on the train. Chance hurried to catch up, wondering just why Byuch was blushing so much."Okay, if you're sure."

Abby was sort of disappointed to hear she'd have to take a train to school; she'd never liked trains, and she'd hoped Kenny or Jojo could just apparate her there. Apparition always felt gross, but it was preferable to trains, or cars. Especially not cars. Then again, there seemed to be a million kids here on the platform, and getting to run through the barrier was pretty cool, so maybe it wouldn't be that bad. She definitely was not going to get stuck sitting by herself. Apparently the train ride took basically all day, and being alone for that long with no electronics sounds miserable. But she was also trying not to seem too hyped about any of it, because she was leaving Lil, so she sort of looked around for a moment. "So do I just get on, or? Um," she suddenly wasn't sure how to properly say goodbye. She was kind of a hugger, but she'd never like, seriously, lovingly hugged Kenny, and she didn't know if the hug would make Lil embarrassed or what.

Dris hurried onto the platform, looking a bit disheveled. He'd stayed up late working on a painting, and had barely managed to get up for school. Luckily, he'd managed to find Milo's thermos and filled it with coffee before joining his family as they left. He took a second to try and appear completely casual, but he looked like he hadn't slept for days. The tall teen looked around, spotting Chance and Byuch talking to each other. He strolled over, sipping coffee as he went. "Hey guys. Gettin' into trouble already? We haven't even boarded the train." He grinned, running a hand through his messy, slightly tangled hair. Oh well, he had all year to look decent.
Detch sighed as he stretched, glad that he was actually going back to school. While he had been quite happy not being at his father's place, he still didn't like the fact that he'd been separated from his brother all summer. Which, sure, the Whitethorne twins were okay, and their mum and dad were... different, he was quite happy to see his brother again. Of course, considering the last time he'd seen Byuch at all, it was after Byuch had screamed himself hoarse at their father over the whole human thing. Needless to say, he was glad to see that his brother seemed to be a bit happier over it all, even if he thought that Byuch still needed to get the stick removed from his arse. He was definitely glad to see that Byuch was hanging around Chance again, since he could tell his brother was miserable otherwise.
Which led to his newest predicament. He was, of course, looking everywhere for his friends, and was almost sure he'd have to climb atop Scooby to find someone. Every year, it seemed like everyone around him got taller and he just shrunk instead. Thankfully, it seemed like this year Scooby was taking the initiative and started sniffing around before trotting off. Detch groaned and followed after the Great Dane. Scooby managed to stop not too long after, and Detch grinned and patted him on the side, reminding himself to give the dog a snack as soon as they were on the train."Thanks boy. Hey Elvira, what's up? Is that sudoku?"Detch leaned forward, looking over the number puzzle carefully. He wasn't going to spoil it for her by solving the puzzle for her. She'd probably be annoyed if he did that. However, he was curious enough to see what kind of puzzle this turned out to be.
