aretoo: I would collect slugs.... and when I stepped on them, I'd apologize to them.......... I dunno, I like slimy insectoids. <:3 Slugs, worms, snails... When I was a kid I'd go out in the rain and pick up all the worms on all the sidewalks and in the grass to save them from drowning. xd Though 100 is rather a lot. xd

EDIT: No wait, scratch that, she picked them up off the sidewalk and put them either in a shallow puddle or an out-of-the-way patch of grass. There we go.

Oh, don't get me wrong; I don't hate slugs (or any other slimy sort of critter)... I DO hate the feel of stepping on them. I don't *love* 'em, either, and dad used to keep cylinders of Morton salt on hand to take care of 'em (he likes his flowers and veggies considerably more than the slugs, and it never seemed to make ANY difference in their populations...).
EDIT: I *do* hate yellowjackets, though; they're just mean, miserable creatures. smile

I don't like Yellow Jackets >.> I was stung by one in the face/head as a kid and my parents told me if I get stung again I'll likely get a horrid allergic reaction gonk
And it sucks cuz they like to drink out of the pool at my parents' place in the summer >.< So I get freaked out every time one's hovering a foot above the surface...

I've never been stung. <:3 I'm very happy about that. Though I did one day learn that I'm severely allergic to horseflies. xp
