((It was fun. Got to watch kids sink in their cardboard boats. ^_^ ))
Joshua looked sheepish. 'Well, I don't know. I thought maybe you could coach me or something? I guess I didn't really think it through.' He played with his hands, embarrassed. 'You're sure you'll be okay though? Cause I should probably get back up before he get's too curious.' He realized that he'd left Mac rather suddenly, without explanation. Joshua didn't want him to become too curious and find Katalina and the others.

((OOC: Did you take pictures?))
It's all right, Katalina assured him gently, smiling. You're right - you should probably go on back up to the human boy. He'll wonder where you went. Don't worry. Nezik and Tia will look after me and keep you posted. Speaking of which, can she come up anytime soon? She's starting to get a bit agitated, I can tell.
She glanced around, looking for Nezik and Tianara.

((Tons. Some of the sinkings were just soo epic! Other boats did really well. The one floated for an entire hour and could have gone longer. Others lasted a few seconds. XD ))
Joshua started to swim away, then paused. 'Um....If you can get her to the sea side rather than the cove side of the beach. Then she can grab some clothes from my camp.' He surfaced in the middle of the cove, glancing to see if Mac was still on the rock. He breathed a sigh of relief to find that he was. He swam over to Mac and heaved himself out of the water. "Sorry about that."

((OOC: Did you get any epic sinking pictures? If so, I wanna see. XD))
I'll send Nezik, promised Katalina, smiling despite herself. As best she could, she made her way to her brother, who was signaling her from beneath the rocks that he'd gotten to while Joshua had been distracting Mac.
Once she explained the situation, he nodded slowly. "I can do that," he assured her. Taking Tianara's arm lightly, he spoke to her rapidly, explaining the situation and what she would have to do. He swam her around to the ocean side, then let her go, with Katalina watching all the while.
Nervously, Tianara ran up to the camp, stumbling several times due to this unfamiliar type of motion. Once she found Joshua's camp, she quietly took some of the clothes from his tent with a silent apology to him and dressed, fumbling somewhat. Eventually, she figured she had all the correct limbs through the correct holes in the clothes, and made her way out towards the beach, barefoot. The whole thing had taken her about fifteen minutes.
((OOC: So that means Joshua and Mac can have some time to do their own thing before Tianara comes to join them, if they so desire.))

Mac looked at him with this face http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cit_lucky_star_Konata_huge.jpg "I know you are hiding something from me" he says calmly. Mac lifts his head back up and gazed into the sky holding his hands together behind his back in a casual manner, "Its okay, nothing you can do can freak me out, I'm always prone to the unexplainable" he says.

((I'm working on uploading them now. Do you have facebook? Either that or photobucket will be the easiest place for me to upload them.))
Joshua brought his knees up and rested his arms on them. He stared into the water. The water was so clear that they could see straight down to the bottom here. "I'm not worried about freaking you out. Trust me, that's not it." He gave a wry chuckle. No, he wasn't worried about Mac in the least. Rather, he was worried about Katalina and Nezik. More so now than ever, because Katalina was hurt. Joshua didn't want to put any of them at risk. If that meant looking weird or being mean to keep the secret, then he would.

((OOC: Yes, I do. Unfortunately.))
Katalina smiled faintly when Nezik came back to join her. "Everything all right?" she murmured. At his nod, she relaxed. It really was something like letting a chick out into the world, she thought.
"She'll be fine. She knows Joshua, and she can handle the other boy," Nezik replied quietly. "We should go, Sorry. You need those looked at."
Katalina raised one shoulder in an elegant half-shrug, and turned her attention back to the beach.
~
Tianara quietly made her way down to the beach, towards the two boys. Joshua's clothes were a little big on her, and she wasn't precisely comfortable walking as a human would, so her movements were careful. Still, her attention wavered between them, and a small smile touched her lips when she saw Joshua. "Hi," she greeted the two of them, and because it seemed the right thing to do, nodded at the stranger. "Care to introduce me, Joshua?" she asked, turning a playful grin on him.

Mac heard a girls voice. He turned around quickly and saw a girl dressed in boy's clothes, although it was common for Mac as he always see's people wearing whatever they want. His attention quickly turned to her and inside he quickly became blissful. OMG There's totally people here that like me already He thought himself. "Hi, I'm Mackenzie, but call me Mac" he introduced himself. Quickly as of suddenly, there was a slow gathering of friendly gray clouds approaching from the horizon out at sea. "Do you live here?"

Tianara smiled faintly. The boy's enthusiasm was entertaining - and probably catching, she decided. He was like the brother she'd always thought she might have had, if she had had her human family still. "Hi, Mackenzie-but-call-me-Mac," she replied, running the words together as though it were all his name. "I'm Tianara. I'm a...friend of Joshua's." Her eyes darted to Joshua as though asking him to confirm. Or deny. "I don't live here, exactly, but I visit since I live nearby."
More nearby than you could know, she thought with a grim sort of amusement. "Why, do you live near here?"

Mac giggled slightly at her. "Well, nice to meet you Tianara" he said politely. At her question, he paused a moment. "Well, I do live here...but I do prefer the sea to land any day. The land seems too chaotic right now".

((What's your name? Then I can add you and show you the pictures.))
Joshua waved to Tianara as she appeared. His clothes were a little big for her slender frame but they were better than nothing. He nodded, confirming what she'd said. "Tianara lives near by. Not in the city though. Neither one of us lives there. It's just easier away from there." He didn't want Mac to go back the city and try to look her up. He knew there wouldn't be any information, which could make Mac suspicious. Better to just claim she lived like Joshua did - Away from the city.

The clouds became closer and the air became humid. Mac listened and spoke, "Do you live in the sea? I keep telling people I'd live there, even though they say its not possible" he said slightly enthusiastic. Suddenly, Mac became wide eyed and his mind became a slurry of mixed thoughts. He paused awkwardly.

Joshua glanced at the clouds forming. It looked like a storm was coming. "We'd better get undercover." He spoke up before Tianara could answer. Mac's question was not one Joshua wanted answered. That would lead to other questions. "That storm could get nasty, even for this cove." Standing, he lead the way back to the shore, gesturing for the others to follow. He had a small cabin built slightly back from the waters. It wasn't much, but it was shelter from storms.

Mac slightly regained composure, and looked at them. "Um, I'm not sure" he said a little held back within himself. He looked at the clouds, and then realized what Joshua had said. The gentle sea breeze caressed his face, and the smell of rain permeated the area. "Oh, really? Ok..." he said as he followed.
