It's easier to think of shell scripts if one thinks of each different command as a different tool (mv, sed, grep, etc.). I find I get overwhelmed if I think of the entire language as a... well... language.
Edit: I'd imagine that goombas just sort of... reproduce via mitosis or something inside those pipes. XD

A hoot indeed. Quarter till seven in the morning, I should be writing a paper. And what do I do instead? Dig through the guild to find out that I have created a grand total of six threads in my entire ATG career, and not one of the bastards got past ten pages. Well, maybe the one in the game subforum, but nobody pays any attention to things below the 10th thread any more anyway...
Do I just not make any interesting topics? Am I that boring...?
Eh, I'm going to take a shower. I need the break, and so does my computer.

How'd you keep track of them?
I'm actually about to take a little nap. Got and entire day of studying ahead of me now. I got a final Friday. I have to do pretty darn good on it too. My grade sucks in that class.
