There was also three different times I had soda spilt on my area of counter. The first was from the Coca Cola ICEE starting to warm up and expand in the cup, meaning soda started leaking everywhere. The other two were customers accidentally bumping their drinks and making soda splash down.
Overall, I was feeling quite flustered towards the end.

Thankfully I got to unwind and end the evening on a better note by attending a Trivia Night event that my library was putting on. I got to hang out with my friends (one of which just recently traveled down from Alaska, after moving back stateside from Germany) and see my "nephew" for the first time. Such a cutie!

I had some delicious food at the bistro restaurant that the event was held at. I had a Strawberry Fizz (strawberry and pineapple juice, vodka [or tequila... I can't remember which now], and a slash of Sprite) to drink. I ate Coconut Chicken Bites ((Coconut encrusted bites of chicken breast. Served with a creamy mild Anaheim pepper, cilantro and lime dipping sauce)) and a Strawberry and Spinach salad. Topped it all off with a delicious slice of Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake.

So, that hike that I was going with my old college friends with ended up being too difficult for me. Thankfully another trail that I've been on that's more suited to my skill level was nearby for me to do as an alternative. My latest ex ended up joining me since he was a bit daunted by the original trail as well.
Thankfully it wasn't too awkward hanging out with my ex after being separated for a year and haven't been in each other's company for basically the same amount of time. Probably the only awkwardness I felt was the fact of being the only girl with the three guys. *laughs*
But at least I got a brief summary of the latest events that's been going on in that group's life. I haven't really gathered too much from the rare posts they do post online on Facebook. Sort of nice knowing what all is going on with them since I got pretty close with them.

Having the Trivia Night event gave me an idea for an activity to do for my birthday party, which is nice since I wasn't sure what all we would do besides visiting and playing games. Plus it would be funny to see/hear what answers everyone comes up with some of the questions I end up creating.
It'll be nice to get everything finalized for my birthday party, so that it's all set when I determine what day I'm officially having it on.

Now to catch up on my shows I've been getting behind on.
Thankfully I was able to catch up on Game of Thrones (until the recent episode) at my old friend's house after our hike. The three of us ended up watching the past two episodes since the friend and my ex were waiting for their other housemate to get home from work before they could watch the new episode.

Well... that was quite the episode. They just keep getting bloodier and more gruesome as time passes by. Not that it's completely a bad thing. At least they're doing a job with the special effects and makeup to display everything. And the deaths for the most part add to the storyline and aren't completely random.
I still have the five episodes of Sailor Moon to catch up on. But those will have to wait until another day. I'm heading to bed. Night everyone.#f51379 #a51cba

Good evening everyone.
I finally got my library card updated, since I haven't used it since I got it back in high school. Also, I decided to go ahead and check out one of the books that I had on my to-read list, since I knew the exact location of where it was.

Hey there everyone. Sorry for not doing a proper good-bye the other day. My computer decided to do some updates... and when I had to do the restart for it to officially implement everything, it decided to mess up the appearance of the windows and what not. So, I was spending a bunch of time trying to figure out how to get it back to the way I like it.

I'm getting quite tired of being the only concessionist scheduled for the opening shifts at the theater on busy days. This is like the third or fourth shift in a row where I've been scheduled opening. I don't mind it when it's one of the slower days. But when it's one of our busier days (like Discount Tuesdays), there's too much for one person to be balancing while filling out orders. Anytime I tried to start or complete something, I was always pulled away from it to take care of guests. Extremely frustrating, especially when some of the tasks need to be completed before the afternoon/evening shift comes around.

In the end, today got to me emotionally. I was definitely ready to clock out by the end of my shift... and was tired of dealing with people.
I think it was also irritating because one of our newer assistant managers keeps talking to me like I'm a newbie hire. She keeps doing these reminders about things that I've been doing non-stop the whole time - asking for guests' loyalty cards, suggesting items and upsizing, keeping up on our hot items.
