Mala couldn't help but somehow feel inadequate after hearing this. She clearly looked like she felt awkward at this point, which she did, so she really didn't know what to say in response to that.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"I'm sorry, just please try to remember soon." Van said seeing the look on her face, feeling bad that he was making her feel bad.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Please help me, then. I really don't know what to do!" Mala said, looking guilty more than anything due to her lack of important memories.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"I don't know, I don't know what you did wrong!" Van said, panicking a bit that she was looking to him now and he had no idea what to do. "Umm...Oh! I think I know, follow me!" he said as he went to find the magic cookbook before heading towards Marianne's place, who would probably have more of an idea than he did. 'Ugh, this is going to be so weird...'

Mala followed after Van at a frantic speed, unable to comprehend what was going to happen next.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"I'm going to tell you this now." Van said stopping in front of Marianne's den to warn Mala. "Your mom's going to help us, I hope. I know you don't like her and with perfectly good reason, but she's not as bad as you think and she's the best chance we've got." he said knocking on the door.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Mala looked confused. "Why would I hate my own mother?" she asked with an eyebrow raised. Clearly, she was taken to an age before Marianne's great disappearance.

"Come in, come in! The food's just getting started!" Marianne called out in a chipper tone.

Larai held Daemon in her arms, currently contemplating on what she should do. Part of her wanted to take a nap or read a book, but she wouldn't let herself do either since it would mean taking much attention away from who she was supposed to babysit.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Uh, food might have to wait...Mala tried cooking again and I don't know if your book is helping any...See, we have a leetle problem I was hoping you might be able to fix...." Van said as he headed down into the depths of the den.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"She didn't try to use the energizer spell, did she?! That'll put you in child form for fifteen hours and wipe your memories for seven!" Marianne exclaimed, sounding dissapointed if unsurprised. After all, Van's voice did sound a bit childish.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Apparently gods are resistant to the memory wiping it seems..." Van said. "Any immediate solutions, or are we stuck waiting it out?" he asked.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"I have a potion that makes one older, but chances are it'd turn you both into geezers." Marianne said,'frowning slightly. "Unless you want eternal wrinkles and possibly sagging breasts, I suggest waiting it out."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

Van sighed. "I guess we'll wait it out...I'm just glad she won't be without her memories for the entire time."

 

[M3Gnificent]

Marianne came into the room they stood in once they got all the way down and smiled at them both. "Mala, Van, is there anything I can do for you both while you wait it out?"

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Nah, I'm good. Dunno about Mala though." Van said as he looked at her, wondering how she was taking this.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Mala looked horribly confused, not moving a single muscle by now. At least this beats her fainting in a cliche manner.
