[Zelly-fangirl]

"Mala? Are you okay?" Van asked. It was going to be a long seven hours.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"So...CONFUSED!" Mala whined at Van, pouting at him. "Why is everyone being so confusing?! How come I'm the only one that doesn't know what's going on?!"

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"That's because you've lost your memory for a bit, but it'll all come back in seven hours or so." Van said putting a reassuring hand on her head.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"What am I supposed to do until then?! I don't want to wait that long!" Mala protested, tears welling up in her eyes at this point.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Just calm down, we'll figure something out to pass the time. By the time your memory returns, you won't even know you lost your memory!" Van said as he gave Mala a comforting hug, which probably made for an adorable sight, like puppy love among little kids.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Mala hugged Van back, not sure what else she could do at the moment. "...Mmkay...." she mumbled, instinctively nuzzling herself close.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

Van would have given her a reassuring kiss on the cheek, but she barely knew him in this state, so he could only smile softly and comfortingly pat her head.

((*suddenly pictures the two playing Go Fish or something for seven hours* XD ))

Mala smiled faintly now, still keeping her grip on Van.

[Zelly-fangirl]

"So any games you want to play or anything you want to do until then? I'm sure time'll fly by in a snap once we're preoccupied." Van suggested, hoping to take her mind off of her current situation.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Mala thought for a moment before asking, "Want to prank some of the neighbors? Get something to eat? Play poker?" I might as well mention that Mala knew how to play poker ever since she was a little kid, and before long she learned how to properly swindle people. It was not something she practiced after priesthood, at least, not until she started passing her dirty little tricks onto Larai when Van wasn't looking.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Well, seeing as how there really aren't any neighbors around here, and I'd rather not think about a little kid like you knowing how to play poker, that just leaves food, which neither of us really had since your cooking bombed. Again." Van said simply.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"But how am I supposed to help make money if I don't know poker?" Mala asked with a puzzled expression. After a couple moments she shrugged and asked, "You seem to know the area well. Where should we eat and what?"

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Normally I'd cook, but I can't reach the stove now..." Van said scratching his head with a sigh when he remembered Marianne had been cooking they showed up. "Hey Marianne, you don't mind if we eat here with you, do you?" he asked her after wandering off to find the woman. "I'd rather we didn't go wandering off somewhere, since kids on their own usually don't do too well...."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Feel free! The food should be just around done anyway." Marianne said with a grin, heading off into the kitchen to get plates and serve dinner. "I hope you both like various honeybreads!"

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Just in time for dinner if you're hungry." Van said with a smile as he came back to get Mala.
