I never have problems with parents hating me. Either they like me too much (as in smother me) or just don't see me ever.
Just relax and be yourself. If you work yourself up it will make things go over badly.

But you're not a jerk, right? If you strain yourself to be personable then they'll pick up on it. I mean, don't just recede into yourself, but don't force yourself to be social if it hurts.
