And D: What is Australia Day?
Australia Day, January 26, is the biggest day of celebration in the country and is observed as a public holiday in all states and territories.
On Australia Day we come together as a nation celebrate what's great about Australia and being Australian. It's the day to reflect on what we have achieved and what we can be proud of in our great nation.
It's the day for us to re-commit to making Australia an even better place for the future.
Otherwise known as a day-off to go to the beach, havce barbeques, play cricket and have parties w000!
EDIT: It's also like the day the first feelt arivved in the country.

Ooh..umm.. I think I am running errands and cleaning house until 3pm (est)...than I am watching my daughter for the rest of the day. *nods*

ACtually Ladi I edited that bit, Its not the day we became a nation but rather when the first fleet arrived in the country, ie the first settlers, which makes me wonder if the Aboriginal People (Native Australians) Celebrate the day the white people came and stole their country *ponders*

Yes I suppose so. But I'm not sure how much Americans celbrate coloumbus day. Like Australia DAy is huge thing you know. EVeryone has the day off (Well most do) and there is performances everywhere and events on around the country sorta thing to celebrate being Australian.

Btw, Columbus Day is no more because the truth about Columbus was thrust into the limelight and I think it was changed to Martin Luther King Jr. Day. I'm not sure. I just know that the holiday's name was changed.

I'm serious. I will start bugging people. I've already sent messages to two site moderators, filed two hack reports and have gotten a hold of customer service.
If push comes to shove and I don't get any help after a month, Gaia will be receiving a very angry message on their phones. After that, I'm sure they'll begin to rethink how they help their members.

I plan on teaching the truth of Columbus Day to my daughter so when she gets to school she can stand up and tell the teacher she is lying, than proceed to explain how he stole, raped and murdered the natives to get gold that wasn't there. And that it was in South America not North America. Columbus was nothing but a greedy bumbling idiot with a ship.
