Mala grinned broadly at Van, taking his hand once more. "Great! ...Lead the way, please."

Van led the way to the dining room and climbed into a chair. "I really can't imagine why her cooking skills suck. This looks great!" he said looking over the spread.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"You know how some people catch onto gardening rather easilly while others bring death and destruction to any plant the moment it comes five feet near them - even if uninentional?" Marianne asked, not bothering to wait for an answer as she continued, "Mala's like that for cooking. The moment she touches a cooking utensil near unprepared food - it is doomed for failure."

"Wow. That's the kind of skill I didn't think was humanly possible." Van said blinking a few times in surprise.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"You'd be surprised." Marianne joked, going on to ruffle Van's hair now. "Knowing she's my daughter, she probably makes up for it in more ways than one."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

Van turned a little red with an annoyed expression on his face when Marianne ruffled his hair. "You do realize that I'm not really a kid, right?" he said as he tried to un-mess his hair.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"I know you aren't. I've just always wanted to do that~" Marianne told him, going off to set the table now.

Van wasn't sure how to respond to that. All he could was raise an eyebrow in an 'are you serious?' way, mouth part way open in case words managed to come out.

Mala just looked more than a little confused once more as she went on to sit herself at the table to eat.

((Seven hours later? XD ))

"I feel like I'm raising Larai all over again..." Van said to himself with a sigh after getting away from Mala for a bit during a brief bathroom break. It was weird, babysitting your temporarily amnesiac wife while in the body of a child.

 

[M3Gnificent]

While Van was gone, Mala ended up regaining her missing memories all at once. After a long pause she put her hands on her currently flat chest and cried out, "DAMN IT I HAVE NO BOOBS AGAAAAIIIN!"

{Couldn't resist that little joke. XD}

((Lol. xD And leetle warning that I'll be heading to bed soonish.))

Van couldn't help but snicker when he heard Mala as he washed his hands. "Now there's the wife I know and love." he said to himself with a smile as he came down to rejoin her. "Well you made it through seven hours without your memory, you can probably make it through eight hours without your boobs."
