I had to have a cavity filled today. They decided to go ahead and not wait till the novacaine had fully kicked in. So they start drilling. I'm sitting there going "ow, ow, ow" AND THEY CONTINUE TO DRILL ANYWAY.

Yeah your dentist is evil... evil as all hell!! I hate Novocaine particularly cause it takes a needle and getting a shot in my mouth freaks me the hell out. Actually... when I get a cavity filled I always end up shaking for like... an hour afterwards.

Well, pretty soon it kicked in fully, so I stopped feeling pain pretty quick. and the pain isn't what I expected it to be, It felt really really cold. And needles don't freak me out, but that might be because I had to have a shot everyday for three years.

aretoo made a nice chicken soup for dinner (and lunch, as it turned out)... should last us a few days... ^_^
Couple pounds of marinated chicken 3 small-to-medium sweet onions 2 yellow bell peppers 2 red bell peppers 8 medium-sized carrots 2 tablespoons minced garlic water oil (for sauteing onions and chicken) salt (to taste) ^_^

Oh needles themselves don't freak me out, I can get a shot and stuff with no fuss. Its needles in my mouth, in my very sensitive precious mouth, that freaks me out.
*huggles Invis* there there no needles are around

Well, the reason I find dentist needles somewhat worse than regular doctors needles is because you can't watch them shoot you up. They always tell me to look away at the doctors, but I can't do it, I just gotta watch.

nummy food aretoo, I think I'm gonna make some pasta with scallops tonight.. not sure
edit: I never look Roland... but I feel it a lot more in my mouth than in any other body part. Might be because I majorly tense up.

I've always hated needles >.< I'm getting better at it, yeah, but it's still never enjoyable >.>
The past couple of times that I needed cavities filled in, they actually still had to give me the nitrous oxide to calm me down and such...Cuz I was shaking and fidgeting when they pulled out the damn needle >.< And I remember a couple times when I was smaller and needed to get shots, I semi-cried >.> (I say semi, cuz I have the tear ducts of a robot or something...)
Oh yes and hi all~
EDIT: When they bring out the needle I never know where to look. I hate looking at the actual thing, but I don't like looking at the doctor or elsewhere cuz then I anticipate it and I get uber-tense. I've figured out that if they're actually having a conversation with me instead of talking at me, it's not quite as bad...

Ooooo, that sounds good, Sanzo... I love scallops, but Kusa doesn't care for most seafood. Alas. smile
(Oh, yeah, also about half a bunch of celery, diced, and a nice-sized chunk of ginger, minced, are also in the soup) ^_^
