I used to almost religiously watch Pokemon (along with like....everyone I went to school with sweatdrop ) in the 3rd grade sweatdrop
I still like the original 150 (151 if you want to include Mew >.>)...

Tell me, exactly what does freedom mean...
Well, as I've said before, I grew up in a christian house, with a mother that thought several things were evil, including pokemon. the only reason I liked them in the first place was to rebel.
...if I'm not free to be as twisted as I want to be?

just to give you a small idea of how religion was handled in my house Roland, when that whole Da Vinci Code thing happened, my parents both commented on the stupidity of crazy christians who take things too seriously.
My dad doesn't trust religion close to hatred actually and my mom is as bad a Catholic as I am... well slightly better but almost as bad.
edit: I guess I should mention I never felt the need to rebel... my parents have always let me do whatever the hell I want the only way I could've rebelled was to do drugs all the time and well... that stuff never appealed to me. I always felt people who did drugs were morons

4Kids ruined the anime for it. The subbed versions (uncensored) were pretty good, but the stigma that is 4Kids just never went away...

Though if I ever catch an old old episode I'll watch it. Just for the nostalgia >.>
And I've found it's hard to outgrow liking the Pokemon games though >.>

Well, as I've said before, my mother is psycho. She thought those Mighty bean toys were demon possessed, and she actually made me throw a friends MetallicA CD away. I had to buy him a new one.

I like to think there's a way to be a serious Christian but not be crazy. But then again, I'm not exactly part of the majority here...
I'm finding myself more of a weird combination of humanism and taoism than just pure Christianity...
