UndaCorp is Under Attack!

*goes through the wall, a few seconds later breaks through to see them all again* "THAT HURT "*evil look, my arm is on fire, and my sword is un-sheathed* "I. AM. ON. YOU.R SIDE!" *retracts my claws and sheaths my sword* *looks over to see sav* "he's the enemy?...Oh and thanks for waking me up arc. i was half asleep walking around in here. luckly i got to my sword. Might have gotten hurt" *laughs*

Hearing Lin's message, Kals checked her console

Son of a buttered pancake! she thought, I thought I already did that! She must have been distracted by her sudden escort duties.

"I'm on it, Linny!" she responded into her headset, punching up the appropriate code.

Meantime, she used her IR and UV scanners to locate Lin, Jiro, and Sav. Seeing that Lin seemed to have things mostly under control, she took off after Jiro. The infamous MrJimmy would have to be oon his own.  

[Xanatos Forever]

Xanatos said nothing to his mistresses' complaint, but as the newcomer appeared, he once again stood before her, hand ready at Xion's hilt as Lady Slim greeted the man. She had already been harmed once, and it would not happen again while he was here...  

[Arcanas]

Arcanas bowed, to the young woman, and with a swish of his cloak, had once again donned his black overcoat.

"I'm Arcanas, but you can call me Arc...Slim, was it? It's nice to meet you."

He turns to the young man standing a few body lengths behind her.

"You can relax, I'm not here for a fight."

Turning back to the young woman, he leans on the wall.

"As to why I'm here, well, I saw some guys break in, I figure I should beat some sense into them...that, and I hear this is a prime place to get a job...though I suppose the interview would have to wait, eh?"

Xanatos lowered his hand away from his weapon after moment and stood back behind Lady Slim, but kept his eyes on the newcomer and his body at ready. It was easy enough for someone to say they meant no harm...

Indigo looks up at the girl. "Oh, hello, Slim. My name is..." she took a second. "Indigo? Yes, that sounds right. I was recently hired by one Master Undakai."

"Arcanas and Indigo, eh?"

As if she was born to do it, Slim whipped open her briefcase and pulled a black book out of it in one fluent movement, then reached behind her ear and produced a pen seemingly out of nowhere. Licking its metal tip, she flipped threw the book and jotted a few things down, then scanned the pages for a moment.

"Yes, here's your name, Indigo. Welcome to UndaCorp! I can give you all the proper papers and forms once we're back into our usual swing. We have to deal with a few...problems...first."

She smiled up over the rim of her pages at Arcanas, continuing in a cheery voice, "You'll have to make an appointment with Undies for Thursday. Does 5pm work for you? This is, of course, a rhetorical question, as we are very busy people. 5pm it is!"

Pen disappearing behind her ear and book falling into briefcase once more, Slim straightened her skirt and grinned up at the four people before her. "Alright. We have to go find Lin and make sure he hasn't mortally wounded the intruders. Undies likes to keep them alive for a while. You all ready to head out?"  

[Arcanas]

He looks at oddly, for he wasn't used to such forwardness. She obviously enjoyed her work. As did he.

"Alright, 5pm...I might have cancel previous engagements, but I do need the work."

Moving to rest his hand on it's usual spot above Ragnell's pommel, he nodded at Slim.

"Ah, yes." Indigo carefully folded her map in half, again, again, and still again until it was impossibly small, then it disappeared to somewhere inside of her robes. "Lead on."  

[Trish the Stalker]

Belle was returning to what she thought would be a regular work day at UndaCorp, but as soon as she entered the front doors she knew something was terribly amiss. Almost instantly she brought out her scythe and prepared to run into something not-so-pleasant as she made her way into the building to see what she could do to protect Master Undakai's corporation.  

[Kalstolyn]

Kals got an alert indicating someone had entered the building. Checking her scanners, she breathed a sigh of relief when she saw it was Belle.

"Hey Belle!" she called into her headset, "We've got a bit of a situation here. I'm coding the foyer defenses to let you through -- the whole building just locked down about three minutes ago. We've got a bogey in the general area of storeage last I checked. You might be needed there. Might wanna check with Slim, though."

Unless you want to help me chase down Jiro she thought, grimly. She didn't dare say that last bit aloud.

Belle patched herself into Slim's headset, hoping for reply, "Hey, Slim, you need any backup?"
