"No not very helpful at all, but I suppose that gives us time to settle things." She replied. "What sort of jobs have you been given? What's your favorite?"

the orange aura sparks up and launches everywhere through the room and a light orange like rain fell throughout the room though not getting anything wet. it was very calming and healing mentally in some sorts.

there was a happy hum and the creature rested the back of his head on Ashocs lap. he was good at making havoc and he took a liking to Ashoc. the creature made a bit of a yawn  

[Kusaragi]

"Thank you. I will see what you have." Daedalus stood and walked into the room, a few moments passed, sounds of shifting wood, and moving machinery wafted through the door before he came back in with a handgun with a silencer and a combat sniper rifle.

"These will be adequate." he stated before setting them next to the couch where he chose to sit down.

"The jobs I get are all kinds, today I was to glue all the bills in the bank together. That was going to be fun. My favourite job... hmm.. that's a toughie. Oh I know! Do you remember about a year ago when all the televisions in the world shut down for a week? That was me. It was so hard, but so worth it." She petted the creature's head, closing her eyes happily with the memory.  

[Roland Karloseth]

"Glue 'em together? Hrm..." Roland thought for a bit. Something like THAT would be a hard one for him to do, at least without pocketing some first... "I remember the TV incident. It was... interesting, to say the least."  

[Kusaragi]

"That was YOU? For that week I had to guard the access corridors of a casino. Their security monitors didn't work any more." He lifted his arm up to his chest, and removed one of the panels in his armor, and began to press a series of buttons therein.

"Yeah, one of my more famous exploits. And it didn't involve any deaths. Or... well... at least not directly," she added, thinking for a bit. She turned to Roland. "Money has little value to me, so I wouldn't take any, really. If I need something, my masters will give it to me. Usually. If not then I'll steal, but only as much as I need." She looked at Daedalus again. "What are you doing?"  

[Roland Karloseth]

His eyes narrowing, Roland said "ok, you've GOT to be doing some odd mind reading crap. I know for a fact that I'm not THAT readable. There's no way I could be, I'm a professional for Christ sake! I personally have no problem if you can do so, I just ask that you do not read my mind. That's the only thing I truly own. Everything else, that can always be taken. Anyway, it's nice to know that my... needs will be taken care of."  

[Kerrigan_dragon]

"Ok," she said quickly, putting her hands up defensively. "I don't read minds. I promise you, I don't. I read... I don't know. Emotions? Personalities, moods, auras, essences? Something like that. I don't know the exact things going through your head, but I know which way your thoughts are leaning. I could tell you were thinking about profit, so it's easy for me to guess from the context what exactly you were thinking about. I'm very sorry, I'll try not to do it. I've just never been around people for more than 5 minutes before, so my social skills are a little lacking. I don't know if I can.. turn it off. But I'll try." She looked down at the floor apologetically.  

[Roland Karloseth]

"That's fine. As long as you can't read my mind, it's all cool. Don't worry about it."  

[Kusaragi]

"I'm trying to remove my programing limitations. They added physical access ports in the event I malfunction. And in the current circumstance I suppose they had the right idea. However this will be my chance to be something they didn't intend."
A faint beep could be heard and the armor attached to his chest fell away revealing a complex array of gold-copper circuitry. "Ahh there we go. Now all I need to do is-" As he made contact to one of the circuit paths a small cluster of Nanites spread to his hand and broke down the two guns he was holding.
"... That was different."

*knocks on the door of Roland's apartment.*
Which direction is Mexico? I'm late for an Ancient Civilizations Convention.

the creature relaxed by her petting him and really kinda zoned out from the conversation. he really didn't care what they had to do. he would probably only be good at getting them out of a sticky situation with massive firepower or using it as a distraction  

[Roland Karloseth]

Roland sighed "Well, there goes THOSE guns. No need to worry about replacing them or anything, but please get that mess sorted out before you grab some more. While my assortment is large, it's not infinite" About then, Roland heard a knock at his door. Holding up his hand and motioning everyone to be careful, he opened the door to see a very interestingly garbed fellow, asking how to get to Mexico. "Um, Mexico... should be south of here. Way south. Your... quite lost, eh?"

Ashoc stood and went closer to Daedalus, to better observe what was happening. "That's... interesting. Where did they come from?" At the sound of another voice, she looked over to the door. "Hello?" she asked questioningly. "Wow, you wear clothes as funny as I do."
