Several of the Heartless were knocked away while the ones left standing kept up their attack. This particular type was a rather slow learner.
"So you can take advice, just not orders.", Drinn says as she glances at the knocked down Heartless. They were barely scratched by the blow, but seemed rather reluctant to get close to Virgil's blade now. "I think I'm going to like you.", she says aloud, though in her head, "Even if you are beating up by pets."

"...We should look for Virgil, see if he's still alive. He just has to be." Rin said, refusing to accept the idea that one of her closest friends was possibly dead. "Well there's a high chance you'll find him here. They say that most of the people that lost their world end up here." Skye said. "Though that only applies to those that make it out alive."

Rebel Of Death "You go do that. I'll be over to save you in a few minutes," Nero called after Virgil doubting the sixteen-year-old's abilities. Turning back to the Wolf-man, "Not a sign of a good king when your not defending your world now is it?" Nero said spitefully, he would defend his king to the death after all the guys pretty much his father. (I have the feeling our characters are about to get into a fight.) Marx's eyes narrowed at Nero. "You do not think I didn't fight? You know nothing. Me and my botrthers fought till we couldn't anymore." He siad coldly. "Now I suggest you find your king."

Virgil ignored Drinn's comment to continued fighting, swatting away the other Heartless before finally deciding to get serious. Treating it like a fight with Yoru, Virgil changed his stance and waited for the next attack.

A few heartless jumped at Marx. "Your here too?" He said as in a quick movement sliced the heartless with his claws killing them. "this is getting out of hand."

The small Heartless surround Virgil on all sides before attacking all at once in an attempt to overwhelm him.

Virgil waited until the Heartless attacked and went full on rage mode, knocking each one away as they jumped at him. After his counterattack Virgil waited to see if the Shadows were going to attack again.

The Shadows would have kept attacking but Drinn, after making sure Virgil's back is to her, makes a shooing motion at them which signaled for them to flee. "You okay once you concentrate.", she says as she watches her pets run.

"Perhaps I fought to keep my king home and offered to go on his mission for him. Perhaps he only left because unike you he was able to protect his world and was going to help others reclaim theirs or prevent them from losing their worlds in the first place," Nero said as he pulled his Wakizashi from its sheath and flung it at the retreating form of a shadow. With a quick yank of his hand the sword flung back to him via a very thin and nearly invisible string attached from his wrist to his sword. "Perhaps my kings kingdom isnt just isolated to his world but is ALL of the worlds including yours. Perhaps you should just keep your trap shut and not doubt my abilties ofr my kings and you should just pay attention to your own business and whats going on around you," Nero continued anger rising in his voice as he once again flung his shorter sword this time towards Marx only for it to impact upon the head of a Soldier heartless that was coming up on the wolfmans unguarded side.

Illiandrinn moves closer to Virgil to get a closer look at his keyblade. "Motivation and feelings, huh...?", she says distractedly.

"Yup." Virgil said and his Keyblade disappeared. "Might as well head back now so that one guy doesn't come charging here to try and save me from nothing." Virgil said with a shrug and headed back to the first district.

Drinn frowns slightly in disappointment when the blade disappears, but follows along after him. "You don't have to go back to Fluffy and that other guy.", she says as she puts her scythe back on place, "They'll probably just try to order you around or manipulate you or something."
((So when is something vitally plotty going to happen? And do you have anything that I need to do as a bad guy?))
