((I don't remember it being mentioned that the bird kids have better hearing than normal, but it has been awhile since I've read the books. All you said was that you landed in a tree, you never said how close or how far so I was assuming you were observing them from further away since I do know that the ones with bird genes have raptor vision.
I would love to do something, but Jenna is waiting to help Rock so unless someone does something she can respond to, I'm stuck))

((No one has made any definite post of who's doing what, I know Alex and Rock are waiting to be tied, but Caleb and Jenna still have yet to choose who stays to help out.))

Caleb knew she might be able to find things on the ground that Jenna wouldn't see from the air, but that probably wouldn't be much help in dealing with the avian who'd attacked them. Her tail lashed in frustration. "If Jenna's gonna take to the air, I'll stay here and help," she offered.

Rock handed her the rope and walked into the middle of the living room before spreading his wings, wanting to ensure their full mobility while having someone on his back "Tie her up"

Jenna takes the rope and starts tying Alexia to Rock. She tried her best to make it tight enough to keep her on, but loose enough to not hurt her further. "Is that alright?", she asks as she finishes.

"I'm good." the bird girl said before addressing Rock, "You?"

Rock gave a few soft flaps with his wings. "Seems okay to me. We're ready to take off. Don't want to stay here too long..." he sighed

"I'll follow on the ground," Caleb said. Her ears flicked in anticipation. She could almost feel the wind on her face already.

"C'mon everyone let's get the heck out of here." Rock waved as he stepped towards the door and broke into a sprint before pouncing into the air, catching the wind into his wings as he burst up into the air. Slower than his usual and had to flap harder than usual, but he would be able to keep a good flight.
