Hey everyone ^.^ I was wondering if there was any tech savy people online that could help me out wiht a little Hard Drive Issue. I don't know too much abnout computer hard ware but I picked up a new internal hard drive yesterday to add some exdtra space to my compy. I have mangaed to connect it (I think) at least VISTA had a littl speech bubble saying it was connected but it doesn't show up in my computer. I am assuming I need to add the new hard ware so I go to that but its confusing and doesn't seem to be able to find what i need. Any advice/ help?
And the HDD is a Western Digital IDE WD3200JB if that helps ^.^

It be Internal aretoo ^.^ I've connected what I beliefe to be the power thingy (The white one with the four holes for pins) and I have connected it to the slave part of the ribbon.

Well I have, but hey another reboot wouldn't hurt and it does seem to fix things most times lol. Oh and the Master Hard Drive is a SATA HDD if that is important. Perhaps they do not communicate well with IDE?
And yes it is plugged in, hence how I am able to send this message razz
EDIT: Reboot complete but the HDD is still not appearing in the my computer folder. its strange because other things like thje diagnostic tools do detect the HDD so I dont know confused
