Well invis I have all three movies, the two seasons of the tv series and the two movies which were shorterned versions of the series
xd And I liked both the seasons actually. But you need to see the whole GITS anime (as in movies and series) to fully appriciate the complexity and awesomeness of it. It is my favourite series just by default. There's just nothing that compares to it.
