{Okay. Let's say that Jaquel and Ariae have already had a kid. Milly and Daemon, being who they are and being so busy, never got a chance to meet him or her. I was thinking that either way, the kid could look like a really pretty girl or something. If it's a guy, eventually after the meeting Jaquel or Ariae could come and take their son out to the doctor's for a check up or something - somehow revealing his gender in the process. (I love genderbender plots) If it's a girl, she could catch on after her mother a bit - being a bit of a b***h and expecting other children her age toserve without complaint only to be horrified when they try the same. After being told 'no', she could try to spend the rest of the day trying to 'train' him like a dog - only to be scolded for her rude behavior by her parents once they find out. If we end up doing this, either could be pretty lulzy.

If not, maybe Kai and Larai might be approaching the age that they'll set out on their own adventures. Feeling a bit lonely after thinking about the lack of company that would soon follow, Mala could try to convince Van that they should have another kid OR they should start traveling again.

I could come up with more if you don't like either of these.}

Mala was burried underneath her blankets early today, and it wasn't one of the days that she and Van would 'test the bed early' either. In fact, she seemed downright...gloomy. So far, Mala has refused to state why in front of the kids.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Any particular reason you're hiding under the sheets?" Van asked, lifting the blankets to peer beneath them at Mala. And yes, by this point, he'd long since gotten his flowing locks back.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Mala pouted at Van, really not wanting to say it. She made herself, though, since the kids seemed to not be in the vincity at the moment. "I feel empty. The kids don't seem to need me anymore, I hardly share any common interests with them anymore, and it's not going to be long before they set off on their own."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"It was only a matter of time before they grew up, you knew that." Van said pulling the blankets off of her and wrapping his arms around her in a comforting hug. "Every parent's got to watch their kids grow up and leave the nest at some point."

 

[M3Gnificent]

Mala hugged Van back, sighing softly. "I know, I know. I just feel disappointed that it couldn't last longer."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"You know we've got all the time in the world if you wanted to do it all again." Van said with a chuckle. "If you can stand going through the joys of child birth again."

Mala grinned broadly up at Van, tightening her grip slightly. "I think I'll have to take you up on that one of these days."

"Before or after the kids inevitably leave?"

 

[M3Gnificent]

"I'm not sure. It depends entirely on when we want to start trying and trying often." Mala said, forgetting that loneliness she had been plagued with if only for a few moments.
