*Sighs.* Dean's being a baby again. He says I'm calling him lazy because I told him I didn't want to be stuck in some dead-end job, unhappy when I have the military knocking at my doorstep, offering oodles of opportunities.
I have a life I want to live and all he can do is whine, saying I called him lazy. *Stews.*

You're telling me. He said the "government could kiss his brown a**" for all he cared. He's stubborn and cranky. Both of our emotional reserves are being tried right now since yesterday, he management told me he couldn't come see me next month.
Then, my dad goes and tells me that I'm putting pressure on him for "demanding" that he comes and sees me all the time. I cried most of last night, thinking that it would be about 6 years before I saw him again if we were just settle for phone calls and cards.
*Sighs.* Now he's being grumpy because I want to join the government or at least work as the Japanese Consulat(e?) in Los Angeles.

Yeah, it's a pain in the a** sometimes. I think on and off every once in a while if I was better off not knowing what a relationship is like. *Shrugs.* I don't regret it. I become very sad sometimes.

Word of warning... a lot of people who join National Guard, at least over the last 7 years or so, keep ending up being called on multiple deployments. 3nodding And give Arc a glomp-huggle for me, would you, since all members of PAI seem to have less sightings here than your average Cryptoid these days? wink

whee Thanks aretoo. I actually just put this cream for dry skin on adn it took the sting away but now its starting to come back

I wouldn't be surprised if I get deployed, really. I just pray that if I do go anywhere, it'd be to Japan since my specialty would be in language. I don't speak Farsi or Arabic, so, the chance of me being transfered to another base would be slim.
As I said earlier, I just don't want to miss an opportunity to do something with my life. I would hate to be an elder and watch the next generation accomplish so much and say to myself, "I could have been a part of that." Just thinking about it now makes me very sad.
@Laz: Ice up a washcloth or something and set the cool water on your skin if you don't have any lotion with aloe in it.
