The prayer they did isn't that bad. I'm just not sure why they're praying for this concert (unless this is a common occurrence with Christian musicians). Oh, it's not just a Christian Rock concert, it's a Christian art and music concert.

It's typical, actually. When I was still in church, they prayed for EVERYTHING

It's not the fact of the religion that irks me; it's the fact that it seems like they took the music totally out of the cultural context that the music came from. It feels... raped.

Again, it's not the religion that bothers me. I feel feverish when an art form is just taken from one culture to another without a consideration about how to incorporate it well. But it's not my job to judge music so don't take my opinions seriously.
