"Agh, mom! This is even more embarassing than when I was a real kid!" Kai said struggling to escape his mother's grasp.

Mala didn't release him, too absorbed in her lonely-mother-glee to even consider his demands. "Oh, Kai, my rambunctious little baby is baaaaack~" she said in a singsong voice with nothing but glee gleaming in her eyes. In a way, this might end up giving her the closure she needed to move on and be ready for when the kids would leave the nest.

"Mom, I'm not a freaking kid! This is just another of your stupid fail recipes!" Kai said, still squirming in Mala's arms.

((Now I just need to find a good place to interject Van in the other rp for mein own twist. *rubs hands together maniacally*))

 

[M3Gnificent]

Mala looked at Kai with her guilttrippy puppy eyes, a look she only used when she REALLY wanted something. "Kai, honey, please let me have this moment - at least for a little bit? You're going to be all grown up before long, probably making this my last chance to see you as my little baby. Please let me have it? Please let me have a chance to say goodbye to that sweet little babyfave of yours?"

"Ugh, do I have a choice in the matter?" Kai asked with a groan as he rolled his eyes.

 

[M3Gnificent]

{Yeah. I don't know what to do with Mala just yet, so that's why I haven't posted yet. XD}

Mala gazed at Kai for a moment longer, almost looking like she was about to cry. After a few secconds passed she grinned broadly and squeezed him tightly in a hug. "No, you don't~"

((S'okay, I was just trying to find a good spot to start my twist, but out of eagerness I went ahead and posted. XD ))

"Sorry Kai, but it's on a fifteen hour timer." Van said with a grin as he ruffled Kai's hair much to his dismay.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Oh, Van, what should we do before it wears off? I want to do something fun before he has a chance to leave!" Mala said, squeezing her son a little tighter in that hug as she smiled up at Van. Kai might not know so much that she meant 'chance to leave' as 'when he abandons me after growing up and going on to explore the world himself' but Van surely would - judging by their conversation a little while ago.

"I think I'll leave that up to you, lest he turns on us both once he changes back." Van said with a chuckle.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"Let's go somewhere. Maybe we could go to the local theatre and make fun of the actors and their undoubtedly terrible performance? Or maybe we could go to a faire?? Or somewhere else that's really fun? Oh, what should we do??"

((When you mentioned making fun of the actors I immediately thought of that Avatar episode where they see a horrible theater performance about their adventure up to that point, except here it would a horrible theater performance about Van and Mala's adventures up to that point. XDDD ))

"I don't care, it's not like I'm getting out of this..." Kai grumbled.

{Oh gawd, that would be hilarious. XD I can imagine Mala saying something along the lines of, "That was terrible! The only accurate thing about that is our immense stamina and the breaking the bed part!"}

"Hey, I wanted to go somewhere fun. At LEAST I'm not dressing you up in kiddy clothes or making you do something even more humiliating!"

"Mom, I have no CHOICE to dress up in kiddie clothes. None of my normal clothes FIT right now." Kai said in annoyance.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"I'm talking about the obnoxiously childish and embarassing outfits that overbearing parents with no fashion sense force their children to wear~" Mala ruffled Kai's hair afterwards, grinning still.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Come on, no need to torture him now." Van said with a chuckle. At least Mala was happy again, at least for now until the spell wore off and Kai wanted to leave.
