Kerrigan_dragon "I think I'll do the same and see if I can do anything about Viral's wings, though I don't have high hopes. But I'll try at least." She gave Elcia and Cthugarai a salute. "Good luck. Try not to get killed. I'd hate to gain a few friends only to lose them in the same day." Kerrigan_dragon "Yeah, it's fine, thanks Draden." She hugged Viral back tentatively. "You're welcome. It's the least I could do. But maybe you should stop trying to kill yourself. Now turn around so I can get a good look at your wings." Draden: No problem *He gently put them on the ground with Virals back facing her* *He then made a circle around the area with his body* Viral: Alright *He leaned forward a bit so she could look at his wings closely*

She began to look at his wings, pulling the feathers aside gently to look at the flesh beneath. "Yeah, you have frostbite. Pretty badly, actually. Lucky for you, though I'm not very strong with my magic, I do know how to relieve frostbite." She touched his flesh softly and sent a wave of magic slowly through his wings, getting rid of the worst of the frost bite and leaving the rest of it still chilly but no longer numb.

She waved away the thought with her hand. "Think nothing of it. But jeez Viral, you gotta learn to take care of yourself. You can't just not eat, not sleep, not protect yourself from the cold and expect your body to preform properly. It's insanity."

"Yeah, but you don't have a family to be rejected from, now do you?" She shrugged. "Whatever, it's ancient history now. I haven't seen my parents for forty years. It's just a bit of a sore spot for me, that my own parents reject me just because they're the opposite of each other, so put 'em together and most of the possible power I could have just cancels out." She brought her knees to her chest and wrapped her arms around her legs as she spoke, staring idly at the ground.

Kusaragi Cthugarai stepped off the dragon with a surprising grace, making nearly no sound as his feet made contact with the soft patch of snow. The winter season was just beginning, so the ground was littered with pine needles and broken dried branches, and patches of snow sporadicly. He would need to move slowly, and time was against him. "Elcia. It's this way." Cthugarai whispered tilting his head in the direction of the storehouse. "Watch your steps, and try to keep quiet. Silence right now is our greatest ally." "I'll follow you. " But she grinned at the comment about silence. "My I remind you I am an elf. We can move as silently through the woods as hunting cats." Elcia made sure her staff was in hand and followed after Cthugarai.

Along the way Cthugarai was testing his control over his power, up until this point all that had happened to him and Blot was simply his Combat reflexes taking effect, giving him a weapon suited to the situation, but it was flawed, it usually only reacted to instinct and was difficult to key down.
"I need to get better at this, or it may cost someone everything" Cthugarai though. "If I can just learn what I need to do I can see what my boundaries are and hopefully use them more efficiently.
As he was thinking about these things he was moving through the forest slowly, the pads on his feet molding to the underbrush leaving hardly any trace he was there, neither twig nor branch broke under his weight, and periodically his staff would grow longer for a moment before shrinking back to size.

Yeah but my "family" is chasing me with an army and hiring assassins to blow my head off. not to mention tanks >< *He wrapped his wings around her as he gave her a hug* ^^

"Heh. Guess we're both pretty messed up then." She closed her eyes momentarily in his embrace, but quickly opened them again and shifted away slightly. "You should be resting."

Elcia trailed silently behind Cthugarai, she stepped lightly so her soft mud stained boots made next to no sound. She could sense that he was tugging at his control. She was tired that was true but she could still work on protecting them all without risking her strength. She brushed her free hand over tree bark in passing using her connection to all the growing things. She sent them her desires for easy passage through the woods, protection for herself and her companions, and most importantly the confounding of anyone or anything attempting to track them.
She left the connections lose, being too tired to reinforce them very much, but they where there and she would later be able to call a large chunk of the woods to do her biding. She smiled to herself at the comforting feeling she got from the tendrils of other living things on the fringes of her consciousness.
